Financial update for those awaiting refunds:
I missed a certify week for unemployment in March, and despite applying to reopen my claim several times and sending them God knows how many emails, I haven't heard anything at all from them.
I don't want to take on more work and get further behind, but if I can get the unemployment back up, that will give me a good chunk of money I can use to give refunds. It just means waiting and fighting the govt at the moment.
Sleep study has been completed. If everything went okay and I dont have to do it again, we should have results back in 2 weeks or less!
Health update:
- CPAP machine acquired. Will update in a week or so if it actually helps or not.
- ADHD meds are on their way, should arrive around Oct 14th
Update:
- CPAP machine was awful. Caused me all kinds of problems. Has been returned.
- Ritalin just makes me super tired, like taking a Benadryl, and not much else. (literally had a few days I was only awake for 3 hours)
- I have a doctor's appointment after BLFC for all of the above
- BLFC!!!!!!!
Still working on getting my work station set up again from the move, and then I will be workin on back commissions again.

Also I just learned my Trello account got hacked so that's cool.
Had an appointment with the endocrinologist today. They believe my pituitary gland is malfunctioning and not producing something it should be. They ordered more specific blood tests and an MRI.
If this IS the problem, it will still be a month or more before I can actually start treatment, but damn does it feel good to at least have a plan.
MRI scheduled for later this month and should get a call next week to do a drug reaction test (they inject the drug they think will work for me and then I chill for 2 hours while they record the effects). Progress!
MRI went smooth, petuitary gland looks a-okay. Apparently insurance was fighting the drug infusion test, but finally got an appointment for June 23
So the drug infusion test wasn't what I thought it was for; it just ruled out adrenal insufficiency (which I thought we already tested for?). The endocrinologist seems to be done with me on that front, so... not really sure where to go from here doctor-wise. I had really hoped this would go somewhere and I wouldn't be suffering so much, but. I guess I'm gonna apply for disability. It will probably be a fight, and can take up to two years, but hopefully it will give me enough money to live and start paying back the commissions I haven't been able to do.
Thank you all for your patience, again.
On top of everything, now that all the COVID benefits are over, we have COVID. Tests that used to be free are now $25 each and there's no compensation for missing work.

I (finally) heard back that I qualify for vocational rehabilitation, basically a program to help disabled people find jobs. They are going to pay for me to get certified in graphic design and then help me actually get hired somewhere that meets my needs!
