Family gathering story

I'm at a family gathering and just heard a story of a couple.

There was theis guy who said he's religious and that he'd maintain his purity and wouldn't get married, but yk the desi families.
So he was forced to get married, he made it clear that even if he got married he still won't have any kids and would treat his wife as nothing more than a friend.
They're now married for 16 years and living happily, no kids. The family accept them as religious too.
My cousin who knew them personally told me that they are actually both asexual and used religion to find an excuse

It's really shows the hypocrisy of society.
If they had directly said that they're asexuals the people would probably call then delusional and made weird remarks " it's not real just try it" " how can tht be a thing, having offspring is necessary" etc
But they accepted it when they used religion as a cover up.
*Desi people would accept things they don't really want to if it's religion.

Questioning if I’m Ace

I know y’all probably get this all the time, but just been thinking for a bit. I’m 20 M, ever since I was 14 I found I had some sort of attraction to men, just kind of an ambiguous thing. (I’ve just called it gay) I’ve watched gay porn and have had fantasies, but in the real world I have had no urge, no desire, like they are not there at all. And no idea what those feelings are truly like outside of a fantasy. Yet I got some weird thing for men. My parents keep on asking when I’m gonna get a boyfriend, but I don’t care if I have one, but yet I have dreams of having one and I’m just kind of confused. Is it asexuality or some mental disconnect I haven’t addressed? Just mostly asking for some more info maybe more perspectives. Thank you for reading, and your time.

I’m about to mute every lesbian subreddit I’m so frustrated.

I tried once more just to see if maybe there was a “diamond in the rust” type of thing and nope; I was wrong.

Once again this subreddit is the most nicest, kindest and most respectful for me to my sexuality.

So many lesbians are down right horrible.

Like what does it take for someone; somebody like me to find a Cis Butch equivalent of my grunge ass?

Why are there so many mean Butch lesbians? Like oh; all would be fine if only Asexuality wasn’t apart of me.

So you’re telling me that my dream Butch is out there; but only problem is they want sex?

I’m sorry that I love stereotypical 1990’s presenting cis Butch lesbians; but without the softball, axe and sex part.

Is it too much to ask to come across one whether I end up with one or not? To know the Butch version of my grunge ass exists (which by the way is the opposite seeing as Butch and Grunge are like the siblings of the lesbian world if you will) would be nice.

Why is sex a flex?

Like 90% of my friends think that a gay ace wants to hear about their straight sexcapades. And they'll go into detail about it too. Like, who asked? Im happy for you and your "throat goat", happy that you can grab his butt while he goes down on you.

What is a weirdly specific thing you see alot with people and characters in the ace spectrum?

I say it first: Sharks.
