Is it a bad idea to wear my ace ring at my Lutheran homophobic high school?
I’ve been wearing it for about a week and the only person who noticed is my ace friend and I sorta pointed it out to them. Other people know I’m ace, and no homophobes or faculty have bugged me about it and it’s not a widely known thing among non lgbtq people. I think I’m good I just wanted a second opinion because I’m not out to my parents or I would ask them

Recruiting someone who can code in JavaScript or React (or whatever) to help me code a dating app for Asexuals
Basically what the title says. I’m sitting on this idea, and it’s all written out, planned, and ready to go. Problem is, I can’t code. It’ll take too long to learn (I’m impatient and there’s a huge demand and by the time I learn, there may not be) and well, I get massive headaches and super frustrated when trying to code. We could be business partners. Split the profit, if any, evenly and I will help as much as I can with the coding as I can, even if it’s bringing you food and coffee/tea, water, etc. (if we can meet in person, if not, then order you something on DoorDash) and I will definitely and enthusiastically work on design, PR, and advertising, and anything else that goes into this project. I thought I’d just put myself out there because I don’t want this ADHD brainchild to go to waste, it’s too precious! (Jk, but kinda serious). I promise I am super dedicated to this and I won’t bail or leave you with all the work! I also promise that I will be open to any suggestions and ideas for improvement or just design change and all that, the original idea is just a rough draft, after all. (I’m 29F, I live outside of Philly, btw) Any takers?

People saying I'm not ace enough
I'm asexual and I do sex work, people seem to be bothered by this even though I've stated that I don't have any sexual attraction to the people I sell to/sleep with and that I simply do it for money. People have told me that I'm not asexual enough to tell people that I'm asexual because of me doing sex work and it just feels super invalidating.

Coming out as ace in a long term relationship?
I’m in a long term relationship (nearly 5 years) and have been thinking for a long time that I might be asexual. It all makes sense when I look back at how I’ve felt my whole life so I’m almost certain this is something I identify with.
Does anyone have any advice on coming out to a partner as asexual (or just coming out in general) after you are already in a long term relationship?
Thank you in advance!

What is with the influx of shows about women’s sex lives?
Obv sexually charged shows have always been a thing but I swear I saw like 3 ads for new shows all about young women’s sex lives in the same day. ‘Single drunk female’, ‘The sex lives of college girls’ ‘sex/life’. Like I get we’re trying to normalize women liking sex and embracing their sexuality but like,,calm down. Can’t relate or connect to any of it. I’d love to see a romcom about an asexual woman in a relationship or something like that.
Edit: In case anyone might be wondering, this isn’t a hate post. I’m not a fan of sexual themes in media but I don’t exactly hate them either. I’m very happy women expressing their sexuality as a normalized thing. I was just surprised to see several of the same kind of thing come out all at the same time is all.
