Had a bunch of ignorant questions to answer yesterday. CW: Aphobia (kinda)

So I was at work yesterday, sitting in the break room as one does when on break, when one of my coworkers comes in and asks about the ring I'm wearing. I told him what it meant and he seemed just baffled by the fact that I wasn't sexually attracted to anyone.
I knew he didn't mean anything, he just seemed genuinely surprised and confused, but then he decided to ask a ton of invasive questions about me and what I do and don't do with my own body or other people, even pulled the whole "how could you know if you never tried it?" thing.
I kinda just sat there awkwardly and tried to explain how creepy and invasive it ask about that stuff.

I have to post about this. I know this is dumb, but I think this why I love our flag so much. I grew up with this game and always loved the box art. I'd never made the connection until literally 30 seconds ago.

is it just me or this is the equivalent of “you just haven’t found the right person yet”

I've noticed a lot of casual sexism and slut shaming here.

It makes me not want to contribute. Women face so many obstacles already. Can we not add to it by calling women who enjoy sex sluts, hookers, and other hurtful things so casually? We know what it's like to be misunderstood and hurt. Please stop doing it to others. You don't need to bring allos, especially women, down to shine light on your struggles and pain.

Hugs are amazing for my depression. Kisses are fine but not a fan of making out. :)
