kissed someone i thought i was attracted to and felt nothing?

so i was on a date with somebody, and i thought they were hot. at one point we got high and they kissed me, and i felt so weird?? it felt really awkward and a bit uncomfortable actually.

i’m confused. i’ve had crushes on people before. i didn’t have a crush on them, but i definitely felt some attraction at least.

also, looking back, when i’ve felt attracted to somebody i’ve never really pictured kissing them/wanted to kiss them. i would imagine other scenarios but like not that

was it maybe because i was high? or could i be on the ace spectrum?

What is romantic attraction?

Sexual attraction is easy enough to understand: you want to have sex with another person.

But what does romance mean? “You want to X with another person”?

Is it like a really strong friendship? What is the difference between friendship and romance?
