What are some stupid things you thought before you realized you were asexual?
A couple years ago, I remember somehow convincing myself that the reason I wasn't sexually attracted to women even though I liked them romantically was that I wasn't masculine enough, and started lifting weights in the hopes that it would change.
It didn't work, but it did make me more fit and satisfied with the way I look, so it ended up working out for me.

I remembered the time a classmate came out as demi in a groupchat, then I remembered what I thought about it...

I don't know anyone who identifies as ace IRL but that can't stop me from creating my own club, right?

Does anyone else get treated as a "child" because they've never been in a relationship?
So my parents are great but my siblings and extended family treat me (F22) as a child because I've never been in a relationship. What I mean is that they see me as less experienced in life, even my younger sibling and sometimes dismiss me. My older sibling sometimes ignores what I have to say and go to my mum to ask her if I can do something - basically asking for parental permission as if I can't make a decision on my own. She also has gone behind my back a few times and told my mum that I need to lower my standards and find a guy because I'm too old. I'm not out to her because she wouldn't understand but my mum and younger sibling know and tend to be okay with it.
Anyways just seeing if anyone else has gone through this?

"Nobody Actually feels sexual attraction" - My mom
I think the funniest reaction to me coming out as ace to my family was my mom saying "Nobody actually feels sexual attraction".
Mom, I think there's something you should know......
