Something funny but so accurate my friend said when I came out to my social group...

I was trying to explain how I'm asexual but still romantic and still want a special someone to hang out with and have a life with. So he said, "Oh... it's like in the movie Big where Tom Hanks doesn't understand why the lady wants to sleep over so he tells her she can have the top bunk of his bunk beds and they spend the whole night bouncing around his apartment." Or something like that... I forget exactly... but YES! That's IT! I am Tom Hanks in Big not understanding adult human relationships and just wanting someone to share my top bunk bed with :D

Just because you don't find men aesthetically atractive, doesn't mean you have to be obnoxious about it and ofend people who do find them atractive, please be respectful to everyone's preferences.

I'm a bi-aesthetic ace guy and honestly i think i'm growing tired of people like this, who think because they like women everyone else does, and because they find guys unatractive everyone else does, it's a really obnoxious mentality, people are diferent, get over it.
I've seen bi aesthetic guy/girls, heteroaesthetic women and homoaestethic men complaining about those type of people, basically saying stuff like "girls are perfect and guys are ugly" and i'm like keep it to yourself? , it's okay to not find a gender atractive but calling them ugly it's sexist and obnoxious and it's ofensive towards people who find them atractive.
Just a heads up, if you find a gender unatractive don't call them ugly please, there's people with internalized homophobia/acephobia/biphobia that might feel broken if they read your post, my homoromantic asexual friend wanted to k*** himself because he though finding guys handsome was wrong.

I'M ACE!!!!!

Hi, I wanted to scream into the void that I'm asexual. I adopted this label last year but I think I've always known at the back of my head. I've come out to my friends and they've all been very understanding. I haven't had the courage to come out to my family yet, but I will eventually.
I guess I just wanted to feel like I belong and be part of the community.
So, if you wanna be friends, feel free to message me!
I'M ACE!!!! IT FEELS SO GOOD TO SAY IT!!!
