Hi

I just wanted to introduce myself. I"ve been over on r/demisexuality for quite a while, but I recently discovered that my definition of it hinged on a misunderstanding of the word "sensual". As a result, I have discovered that I'm actually ace and demiromantic. I've never experienced sexual attraction, though I've been married and have two kids, and what I thought was sexual attraction was in reality sensual attraction and romantic attraction. Nice to meet all of you!

I consider myself sex-indifferent, but easily embarrassed by sex as a topic and uncomfortable with it applied to myself. That said, I'm not averse to or against talking about it with others, and have had some really good conversations! Just understand I blush really easily at the topic and am easily embarrassed.

I'm not sure what else to say, but feel free to say hi or ask questions! I loved the community in r/demisexuality and am hoping for it here as well.

...Also I have ADHD so if this is hard to follow, I'm sorry. 😅

Which name would be a better name for a special asexual state (If existed)?

Edit: If "Acesota" wins, all the ace people are welcomed to the best coffee shop of acesota for a tasty coffee with cheese cake there. There will be a big meeting with free coffee and cheese cake.

There are sexy things I like, but "sex-sex" isn't one of them

Background - 30ish male. Have had a few relationships but always a problem with sex because... when the time comes, I find I just have no desire to put my penis inside whatever orifice. To me, it's like everyone is obsessed with sticking their finger up everyone else's noses, and I just don't understand why that's pleasurable. It just feels kind of weird to me.

I like kissing and cuddling and I can masturbate and there are kinks that I'm into, but. This has honestly made my dating life extremely difficult as my girlfriends just get frustrated with me after a while. I think they feel bad like I'm not attracted to them, but I'm not sure its for the reason they think.
