"How do you think a full or queen bed would look in my room?"
Yes. I'm sure most of us at one point have done it - trying to upgrade from a twin or a twin xl to a full or queen size bed. (It's comfier!) Also, it has probably happened when you still live/lived with your parents.
I want one this coming Christmas, and I'm saving up for it beginning now. I'm getting one with drawers underneath and everything, so I will not need my dresser anymore. (Trying to go minimalist, lol!) I am a teenager, and quite an old one for that matter, so of course, most parents will think of something different than comfort when their kid asks them if they can have a bigger bed.

Me: "Hey, how do you think a full or queen bed would look/be placed in my room?"
Mom: "Oh my god, you've just started school! And you're way too young!"
Me, looking confused: "Uh...I got a twin bed like 10 years ago...it feels pretty small now, even though I'm not the biggest person."
Mom, looking worried: "You don't need a full bed! That'll take up way too much room!"
Me: "Not really, it will have drawers so I can get rid of my dresser and mount my TV to the wall instead. Remember you even said it would be a good idea to close off the under-bed area because of dust?"
Mom: "I guess you're right -but remember, it's just for you!"
Me, grinning in happiness (with mom looking confused): "Thanks! Perfect!"

Mini rant about something that was said to me today
I’ve never experienced sexual attraction in my life, and the thought of sex makes me feel uncomfortable. I could just be a ‘late bloomer’ (16 as of writing this post) but for now I am using the asexual label because it fits. I was talking to my friend about asexuality and mentioned that it’s still possible to enjoy sex and be asexual. He responded with something to the effect of “how could anyone not like sex?” and I felt kinda invalidated. I don’t know if I’m overreacting but it felt kinda aphobic, it discouraged me from talking about it more to him.

Told my friends that I’m asexual, they made fun of the idea
So a topic of conversation came up that made it so that I told them that I’m asexual, I’ve kept it to myself since I don’t really feel like something that I personally needed to share; but I told them, when I told them they just started laughing a bit, made fun of the idea and just brushed it off
It hurt a bit, like I was a freak of nature; “you’re a man, how can you not like sex?”, I’m feeling a bit down about it, I was hoping that wouldn’t be the reaction whenever I told them

Why little sister came out as an Asexual today. I'm here because I don't know a thing about asexuality.
Title basically. My sister came out today as an asexual, and my mother and me are both supporting (my father doesn't know, and franctly it's better that he doesn't). However, even though I like to think myself as progressive and open minded, the reality is that I don't know a single thing about asexuality, nor do I know how to approach the situation to not make any jokes or comments that might hurt her feelings.
She said that she is not attracted to boys and girls either romantically nor sexually. Is there a name for that apart from asexuality? What comments I should avoid saying to her?
This is all new for me, so please be understanding if I don't get something or a term flies over my head (english is not my first language). I appreciate all answers, thanks :D
EDIT: TITLE HAS A TYPO. Replace the WHY with a MY. sorry for that.

Does anyone else hate the term “just friends” and want to eradicate it from speech?
I also hate “more than friends”. It’s invalidating to feel like society is saying that the most important relationships a person has should have sex. I hold my friendships very deeply and lovingly, so it’s scary for me to think that these I might just end up a second tier relationship in my friends’ lives.

"If you had 24 hours with me and I couldn't say no, what would you do?"
Well, since you asked. The day would start with you tidying my place (it sure needs it) while I make us pancakes and eggs. After we've eaten, I can show you my complete Bionicle collection and my Pokemon cards, maybe play a few games too. For lunch, I'd prepare home made garlic bread (I love cooking). Then we'd watch anime together. Been wanting to try "Is The Order a Rabbit" it looks so sweet. Then I'd make chicken tetrazzini and we'd talk about ourselves and all the fun we had that day.

Hey, i'm a guy.
Well, the other day i went to a the gym with a friend, well there were 2 gorgerous men there that i couldn't stop looking.
The first one was a bald guy, with the most gorgerous blue eyes i've seen, he also had a light brown beard and really cute chubby face with a white smile.
The other guy was drop dead gorgerous, he had a defined jawline, the most gorgerous green eyes and smile i've ever seen in my life, and a goatee, his muscles were also pleasing to look at.
My astethic atraction is a bit weird lol, altrough i find way more women good looking in average, i feel intense astethic atraction towards good looking men, even though i don't find that many guys good looking compared to women in average, so if i find a guy astethically pleasing chances is that i will stare at him for hours like a pyscho.
Then it happened:
Friend: "I noticed you were staring at those 2 guys for hours, are you gay?"
Me: "No?" (Why do people think finding a man atractive means you want his dick?"
Friend: "Are you sure? if you find those guys good looking wouldn't you want to please them?"
Me: "Uh, no i don't like dicks one bit, sorry"
Friend: "Just suck it, you're overthinking it"
Me: "Fuck no"
I hate you people asume you like dicks just because you find some men good looking, like what correlation there is between finding a guys face and body and liking sex or penis?

I talked to my partner and it went really well :)
Just wanna share cause it made me really happy. Me and my partner had a long discussion about boundaries and what I'm willing/unwilling to do in our relationship and they were super understanding and supportive. I was extremely awkward the entire time lmao but it felt good and I'm really happy about it. I love them so much, I don't know why I was so worried to do this. :)
