Not caring about sex as a male makes life so much easier for me and I'm convinced it helps me live stress-free. Does anyone else find this?
Guys I know just seem so tied to sex... I don't know anyone anymore that goes clubbing but to go out every weekend trying to "get laid" and it probably not happening most of the time... what a waste of time. I know someone that spends money on girls' snapchats and is just so tied down to porn. Also he'll say things like "Dirty slut" when watching porn.
I don't really make friends with guys due to past trauma and I'm convinced that my attitude makes is why I seem to easily make friends with girls and that they seem to be easily impressed with me - I'm not trying to brag, I just think that their experience with a lot of other guys make them set the bar fairly low for what's good in a good guy friend, and that's why I get accepted.

Asexuality is a sexual orientation where a person doesn't experience sexual attraction towards anyone. This is a place for asexuals, demisexuals,...
Had a boo-boo at work and covered it with electrical tape. Accidentally gave myself an Ace ring 😂

First time making a poll.
On a scale of 1 to 6 (where 1 = not at all, and 6 = all the time) how often do you think you experience aesthetic attraction for another person? If you don't feel you fit the available choices, comment your opinion

If they all get Thor, Deadpool, and Spider-Man respectively, can we have Doctor Strange? I feel like he’d be too busy turning reality into his toy to care about sex.

Going on my first date… ever!
Hi Reddit!
I (25F) am going on my first ever date soon! She’s ace too, we have a lot in common from our conversations, and I’m excited to meet in person! I’ve literally never been on a date in my life so I’m incredibly nervous, but in a good way?? I couldn’t fall asleep last night because I was thinking about her… I feel like a huge dork 😅
If anyone has any advice I’d love to hear it!!

How do you feel about sex and how do you feel about being asexual? (Feel free to comment if the available options don't apply to you. And, remember, no matter what the results are, you are 100% valid)
Sorry if it's been done. Lately I've seen a few posts by people who lament being asexual, which surprised me since it's the complete opposite of my experience, and I was wondering if it could have something to do with how each of us feels towards sex (I lean heavily towards aversion).

I'm an ace dude and I feel like it makes me less of a man
For context, I'm an 18 year old dude in my last year od highschool. I always hear my friends talking about how much they enjoy spending time with their partner or how they're talking to girls and going on dates or hooking up and stuff like that. And tbh it just makes me feel really lonely. I've had a gf before (it was long distance) but she would ask me if I was gay bc I didn't feel comfortable doing sexual stuff with her yet since I'm demi and it takes a long time for that stuff to kick in. Eventually I found out that she had been cheating on me, and I think one of the main reasons why was because we didn't do sex stuff. People make fun of me and call me a "loser" when I tell them I haven't had my first kiss and things like that too. It seems like there's this expectation for a dude my age to be super sexual and desperate for sex, and it just makes me feel so alone and "broken". I know I shouldn't feel this way and that I should just accept myself as I am, but it's just difficult.
