My mom said I should get my hormones checked. Then when I told her I still get aroused she asked me what I think about when I masturbate. She’s my mother! That’s none of her business.

Fortunately she agreed when I told her she crossed a line, and said I didn’t have to tell her (she also agreed that there wasn’t anything hormonally wrong with me).

But then she said she was “Just really curious” which was still weird, and then my dad said he was curious too, which was also weird. Then they started discussing whether or not it would be possible to find the “general answer of what asexuals think about” on google.

At this point I'm just rereading the same novels over and over again. Do you have any good book recommendations?

just wanted to share this comic book I discovered the other day called "how to be ace: a memoir of growing up asexual" and I just found it so relatable in many ways

I'm this close to spilling the beans and just coming out to avoid conversations like this(on the plus side I told my mom that I've never been attracted to anyone ever and she reacted positively!!)
