Apparently, it IS possible to be asexual and to have a sex drive at the same time - what?

I've considered myself asexual for a while now, but I never bothered to inform myself too much about it - I decided to fix that now by going to this subreddit.

I read a post here saying what's written in the title and I found that extremely confusing. I went to the FAQ for answers and it didn't mention that at all (or at least I didn't see anything like it when skimming through the FAQ), so I'm asking this with a thread. How can one be asexual and have a sex drive at the same time? Isn't asexuality all about not being attracted to anyone that way? Please educate me lol.

EDIT: The question's been answered - I like the food analogy quite a bit. Thank all of you for answering!
