I am allo. The love of my life is ace af yall.


I'm the type of person who loves to tell people about things that excite me. I will gush about my love, my day, my job, my workout, all of the things! Whenever I'm happy I HAVE to tell someone and I have no idea why, thats just how I roll I guess.

H O W E V E R.. one thing I can not talk to people about is my relationship with my beautiful boyfriend because all anyone cares about is if we've touched genitals or not???

I'll go on and on about something cute or fun we did to my roomie, and I'll get "Ok thats nice but did you have sex yet?" And when I tell her that my sex life is noones business but I then remind her that my bf is ace, she shrugs and says "You never know."

BUT I DO KNOW??? AND SO DOES HE???

Others have also asked if we've done the sex yet and everytime I'm like "Noneya business." But theyre obsessed and its soooo bizarre. He bought me an adorable necklace for xmas and I knitted him a blanket and a mutual friend legit asked if I gave him a little "something" as a thank you for the gift.

YEAH MOTHER-EFFER, I SAID THANKS, WE KISSED, AND THEN WE WATCHED A HORROR MOVIE AND CUDDLED UNDER HIS NEW BLANKET wtf you mean did I GiVe HiM sOMetHiNg, I pity your wife my guy.

Last Monday, my bf and I had an intense, and indepth discussion about what would happen if I suddenly turned into a racoon and how it would affect our relationship but yet nobody cares because it doesn't involve us being naked..

Smfh. What a time to be alive.

like i really don't want to read 10 times a day how bothering my asexuality is to allos or how hard finding a relationship will be. i'm already insecure about all those things, i don't need to see them in a sub that is supposed to be a safe place.

really, i understand why some ace people here post texts or rants about their own relationships with allos, family issues, etc. and those are alright, because this is the only place they can share their feelings without judgment. but then there's all the daily posts about aphobic comments on other subs or a discussion in a youtube video or a poll where half of the people say they would break up with their partner if they came out as ace. and i find those completely innecessary and honestly hurtful. i don't think i'm the only one with these feelings cause i remember reading a post just like mine a few weeks ago. can we avoid posting this kind of stuff, please?
