To be clear - when I complain about having to explain asexuality to people I come out to, I’m not complaining about the person

Usually I’m actually pretty happy that they want to become more educated about it, as long as the questions are derogatory or anything, and that they feel comfortable enough to not be worried about offending me. When I complain about having to explain it, I’m complaining that as a whole asexuality has so little overall representation or discussion that barely anyone outside of the lgbtq+ community actually really understands what it means.
