Why do allos date people that they don't even like?
(I didn't know what flair to use, so tell me if I should change it)
I know multiple allos that don't even like the person that they're dating. They always roll their eyes at whatever their partner says. When I ask why they're even dating they say that it's better than being single. What??? Why is being with someone you don't like better than being single??? Wouldn't they rather wait until they find someone they do like then settle down with someone they don't? It just doesn't make sense to me.

My 16yr old daughter thinks she may be straight, asexual and finds the thought of sex repulsive. Most of her friends are either gay/bi and girl/boy mad and she does not understand what all the fuss is about. The only thing she is passionate about are animals and gaming.
Q. If she is asexual, does that mean she will never be attracted to someone or fall in love?
Sorry for my ignorance. I cannot bare the thought of her being alone because she is beautiful, loving, accepting and kind.
