Tired of sex being equated with health
I, fairly often, come across publicity from various sources (example: health coaches, sexologists, psychologists, etc) talking about the importance of having sex regularly to maintain a healthy life and it makes me feel dehumanized, invisible and that there's a problem with me. Like somehow I'm sick and won't live past 40 and all my crops will die and I won't survive winter or something if I don't get laid.
And I completely understand that some people enjoy it, use it to connect with their partners and even for physical activity and that's wonderful!
But I don't need to have sex to be a healthy person. I don't need it at all. And I'm so unhappy with these so called professionals always making me uncomfortable.
I just wish people just stopped pushing sexual activities so harshly. It's totally ok if you want to put the option out there in a healthy and respectful manner, as something that can benefit you. But I will resist being diagnosed or having my health measured just by the amount of sexual activity I have. In my case that amount is 0.

Instead of being “in the closet”, can we say that aces that are concealing their asexuality are “up the sleeve”?

I designed some Ace Pride Dragon pins, and the samples arrived a little while ago. I'm in love with how they turned out ^_^
