I'd expect more from an institution designed to educate people, but alas...

Made a shirt for a punk rock show outta frustration for a failed relationship that I am just coming out of. I know what my boundaries are and I need to set them more strictly and find someone who accepts that I am not comfortable with sexual acts. I can’t wait to wear this on stage.

Is the lack of asexual representation in Hollywood just due to laziness

So most people don’t understand asexuality and some assume that we are all aromantic. Almost all story’s need the characters to have a motive or drive and a relationship is an easy one to write. It’s basic and almost universal. So with people thinking that we are sexless loveless robots they don’t write us into things and that intern drives us into obscurity and breeds more misunderstandings. So is the lack of ace representation in media due to laziness breeding laziness

Asexuality or childish?

It's weird being me because I deep within feel pretty childish.

It feels like you're stuck in that part of your life when you still have the child-like manner of not having sexual attraction to anyone, because you most likely don't have that attraction as a child, and now you're stuck in that child-like period.

Let's see if I can clarify this further.

When you're a child, before puberty, you have all these child-hood crushes and you're playing House with your friends and you find people your age aesthetically attractive. But you don't have sexual attaction because you're too young to have those feelings.

And then puberty strikes, you got pimples and everyone is horny all the time because of hormones and everyone wants to have sex, except YOU.

You maybe want sex, but nobody has ever drawn to you, unless they're really pretty aesthetically.

And it feels like you're stuck in this mind-set of a child who doesn't want sex or don't feel that kind of attraction, and now you're just horny. Or not. I'm not.

Am I the only one to feel this way? To feel you have gone one step forward with other things but with this gone three steps back?

And is that a sign of asexuality or am I just slow with those things?
