Looking for resources.
Hello. I am a bisexual male married to an asexual femal for 5 years (tommorow). We do have sex but it needs to be planned a head of time. She does not desire it but is not repulsed by it either. I have tried asking my wife about things pertaining to her preferances but she comes up blank.
Being curious about this and trying to understand this, it is difficult trying to find information out there. Anyone know of any places I could go to learn more about it. I prefer books (mostly non-fiction) and movies (documentarys?) for learning but any help is apreciated. It seems like the media (books/tv/movies) almost think that asexuals don't exist.

Probably has been done before, but that is what I thought about when my friend (who is still in the closet) told me about a game of 'never have i ever' she had to play at a party

I love it when people think saying "hurr hurr, Asexuals can't get laid" is an insult. (I cut off his username because I'm not advocating brigading him)

Asexual Icing
I came out a while back, and of course, it came with that backlash of "you just haven't had sex with the right person," etc., we all know the sayings by now.
So I was hanging out someone who originally said such things when I first came out the other day. He's not super supportive of my asexuality, but we've been friends for a long time, so we just don't bring it up around each other. He owed me ten bucks, but he doesn't carry around cash. So we're passing this gourmet cupcake store, and he says "how about I just but you a cupcake so I don't have to go to an ATM." I replied "If you want to buy me something, that's fine, but I don't like icing. It's just sugar for the sake of sugar." And it just BROKE him. "You don't like icing?" A smile crept across his face. "Well, you haven't tried MY icing."
Now we're at his house, and his mom is making her homemade icing, because his entire family is hellbent on turning me to the frosted side. She gives me a tub of icing and a spoon and asks me to straight-up eat it plain. And I'm sure it was good icing, but icing isn't my thing, and it was too sugary for me, and I explained that to them.
I was a little mad that we wasted a few hours on this adventure (he doesn't have much to do at his place, we were just kind of sitting around on our phones), so we leave for our movie with some other friends. On our way to meet said "other friends," he just sighs and says "I didn't think people who didn't like icing existed. This changed my entire life view."
I just kind of realized how similar that was to some of my asexual experiences, and now I always tell people I don't like icing before I tell them I'm asexual, because apparently it's a *damn* good metaphor.
Sorry I'm more of a garlic bread guy than a cake guy. Just thought y'all would enjoy this story. Have a good day!
