Your not ace your just depressed
I was talking to my friend about a conversation I had with this boy I’m seeing about my asexuality and my boundaries and how happy I was that he was happy with everything I set out and didn’t push me away. She started saying something along the lines of ‘you never know what the future will hold’ which I agreed with because you never know. I could be demi.
But then the conversation turned sour when she started saying her boyfriend didn’t have any attraction to anyone for 6 years and that’s not because he was ace but because he was depressed. I’m quite depressed and have a lot of mental health issues, which she basically said was the reason I have absolutely no desire to be sexually intimate with anyone.
Why can’t I just be accepted for who I am and not have a million and one other reasons forced on me about why I don’t want sex. I’m ace. Get over it!

Really need to consider how compatible you are in bed.
Was thinking this last night.
I like to have my duvet tucked right up to my chin and round my body but if I had a partner that liked to have the arms over the top or the legs sticking out...?
I would really have to consider if we are compatible in bed. Would we need to get separate duvets? What if they liked it hard and I liked it soft? Would we need separate mattresses?
And after that thought, I confirmed that yup! I'm ace. 😂 Happy belated valentine!
