Confused as to where exactly I am in the asexual spectrum.

I think I'm either greysexual or demisexual.

Most often, my attraction to someone is non-sexual — even if I am in a relationship with that person. I am most attracted to their personality and shared interests. Their physical traits, I can also find non-sexually attractive as well. I can find someone beautiful, but not feel an urge to have sex with them. However, not as often, I can find someone sexually attractive... but don't have an urge to have sex with them. This is true regardless if I am in a relationship with them or not.

In order for me to have sex with someone, I need to be dating them... but, of course, this also doesn't mean I'll only be wanting sex in the relationship from then on. Sex is barely at the front of my mind. For me to be willing to date someone, I need to have a deep, platonic relationship with that person as well.

Am I still considered asexual?

so I’ve identified as ace for a few years now (as well as aro & use aroace as an umbrella term) but the more i look into “ace culture” the more i feel like im kind of an ace outlier or even not ace

Like, I find some people hot, and I would have sex if I were in a relationship and knew the person very well, but I have never felt sexually attracted to anyone or have had the desire to have sex or even jerk off-

like aside from purposefully wanting the feeling of yknow I’ve never had any of the “urges” ive been told im supposes to have towards other people. I think I’d live a perfectly content and happy life without sex and if i were to date someone, unless they wanted it I don’t think it would be something I’d ask for,,

I think that a lot of micro-labels apply to me and thats why im conflicted (i also just feel less ace bc im not sex repulsed :/

I’d appreciate any input bc I’ve felt comfortable as loosely “ace” for a long time but recently have been tossed around a bit

Confuse ace with aro

I dont know if i'm the only one realising it, but many people confuse being asexuel with being aromantic.

For example:

Charakter A: i'm not interested in dating.

Charakter B: so you're ace?

Like its not the same thing but it happens so much. And it makes me mad because people on the aro-spec are just being labeled as being ace. It's just frustrating in my opinion

Need comfort

Hi guys ! I'm ace heteroromantic and I'm madly in love with a friend. I'm having a pretty rough week, thinking about him 24/7 and thinking about how we can never be together.
If any of you have any advice on how to forget someone, don't hesitate !

Even if the LGBTQIA community was about discrimination, I still think we'd be a part of it.

I hate how lack of sexual knowledge deems one as immature

Growing up, I was always seen as the innocent one or was not mature because of this lack of knowledge and I hated it so much.

I recently made my buds some pride themed bracelets, and made myself a lil something (beads are charcoal for black, glow resin for white, opalite for grey, and amethyst for purple) 🖤🤍🤍💜
