This isn't the flag you're looking for

Ah yes, the Asexual flag. Would recognise it anywhere.

You will never guess what I got told today
I am (16f) aroace, and I am just feeling comfortable to come out to friends now. For some context, I decided to join an LGBTQ+ club for teens outside of school, as my school doesn't have one.
Today, I asked how do I join a club without my mum knowing what the club is, then my friend asked what is the club. So, I told her, she look at me all confused. Then I told her that I am aroace and I explained what it was. And she had the audacity to say, 'You just haven't found the right person yet.' I hated being told that. It made me feel inferior and vulnerable, all because of my identity and the way I feel about romance and sex, and that I have never felt romantic and sexual attraction.

A friend said something odd to me today, linked to me being asexual
So today I was just eating lunch with a friend at school and she randomly asked, “If you weren’t ace, which Harry Potter character would you f***?” I did explain to her that being ace means experiencing little or no sexual attraction, not just whether you are involved in sexual activities but she said she already knew that and seemed to really want an answer. I eventually lied and answered with just the most logical, same-ish age, usually perceived as attractive character I could think of and that was that but it made me feel really uncomfortable (especially since neither of us are even old enough to be involved in that stuff) and a little invalidated, like she wanted to know an idealised, unreal version of me instead of the actual me. Am I overreacting???

I fixed my fixed version of a certain comic ("Sex Positive" is not the same "sex favorable". Maybe it's a small and harmless mistake that doesn't make previous version bad, but I just had to)
