Something i needed to tell
I guess I just wanted tell my story. I’m coming from a very homophobic country in which the very idea of lgbtq+ is frowned upon so it took me a while to learn it even exists. And i learned about “sex” when i was quite young, I somehow put two and two together and decided that it was disgusting. Thinking that my mind will probably change as I grow up. Long story short it didn’t change much, I wasn’t disgusted as I was before but I knew I wasn’t ever gonna do it. And I consulted myself that I didn’t have to worry about it cuz no one was going to be interested in me anyway. I started to think that I was broken and something was really wrong with me -my mother’s accusation about how dumb and shitty i am helped it-. Then I learned about asexuality and for the first time for something clicked and I realized maybe I wasn’t broken at all and I belonged to somewhere. Yes I’m not out to anyone except my closest friends and my country is full of people who is probably repulsed by the idea of asexuality but I know despite all these I still proud of who I am. (English is not my native language so im sorry for if it’s not understandable, i just wanted rant a little and tell my story, thanks for existing)

A movie with no unnecessary sex scenes!!
I recently watched The Old Guard on Netflix and TW: there's lots of blood, gore and swearing, but there was zero unnecessary sex scenes (there were none) or sexualised scenes and it was so refreshing to watch. The romance between two of the characters and the group's friendship were so pure, I highly recommend giving it a go if your into action movies!

I accidentally came out to my girlfriend a couple days ago (biromantic asexual :)) in a PowerPoint presentation I sent her and guess what?
She’s also ace.
We’re gonna talk about boundaries in person but it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. There’s no anxiety over in person meetings because there is no expectation of sex that I can’t give. We’re semi long distance because she lives in the city I go to uni in but I’m seeing her tomorrow and I’m so excited. We’ve only been dating for about a month but I think I love her 😳

If your are asking, yes. It doesn’t matter if your young or sex-positive, if you don’t experience sexual attraction to the same level as allos, you are ace. How you feel may change in the future but what matters is how you feel now.
