Many people struggle to know what to do with their time and energy, and this is what hold us back. It can feel like we're left at a dead end or running in a hamster wheel. Our vision is limited to what is directly in front of us, and it can seem impossible to escape the vortex of survival questions. This is why I consider it crucial to look to divination and magic; both give information, power, and results that we would ordinarily pass unawares. Without it, I would still be a shiftless untermensch who looks to others and the world for direction, only to be forever unsatisfied and uncertain. Now with magic, I have access to the knowledge and forces required to navigate life with relevant information and the essential tools of growth and adaptation. I don't consider these tools intangible. On the contrary, these things touch the most present and real planes of cause and effect.
