Jesus is there for you as your comfort. He will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter what you are going through, the issue(s) at hand or the darkness that wants to overwhelm you, if you turn around you will find Him waiting for you. He is waiting to be found by you, to comfort and guide you through the rough times, through the desperate times, through the alone times. Seek Him and you will find Him.

This morning I woke up with a song that God laid on my heart. The phrases that kept repeating were, "In the middle of the storm, in the middle of my trial I'll still bless You" "my hope and firm foundation"
Tonight, at my church's Power and Praise session, this song came up again. So I sought after the Lord and He led me to 2 Timothy 2:19.
Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God [which He has laid] stands [sure and unshaken despite attacks], bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord stand apart from wickedness and withdraw from wrongdoing.”

This sketch is the result of what I saw.

He is Truth. He is Living Water and He burns like fire. When you come to Him in repentance, You call on His name, He washes you clean and and consumes you like fire.
Call on His name. It's the first step to walking out the Kingdom of Heaven and living in Christ (Hotel Jesus).

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

A friend and author, Julie Waterman, asked me to draw her a picture that could work as a companion to the book she had written, "Soul Care 101: Abiding in Faith, Hope, and Love". Julie asked me if I could draw her my interpretation of the Armor of God. After viewing many available images online she was not satisfied with the representation. I felt the nudging of Holy Spirit and told her I would be honored to draw her a picture once I had a better understanding of the Armor of God.
My friends, God took my on a journey of research and revelation. My first and biggest revelation is: The Armor of God is not defensive, it is protective. The weapons we are given are offensive. Secondly, when you begin studying the different pieces that make up the armor you begin to realize you are actually suiting up in Jesus. You are applying another layer, the ultimate layer of protection and victory, and it is Jesus. It's literally all about Him. It always was and it always will be (John 1:1-5).

Many find themselves alone during the holiday season, wishing for someone to care. God saw. He loved us first, He sent us His Son, establishing a way to dwell with Him through the sacrifice of Jesus.

Please share the following picture as you feel led. While creating this piece I clearly felt the love of God flow from heaven and into this picture as I was drawing it. May revelation of God's love for us come in our hearts as we realize His door is always open to us.

You will find rest and peace where I am at. If you walk through My door, I will never turn you out. Dwell in Him (Jesus) and you will dwell in Me. My house has many rooms, and one of them is for you. A place prepared just for you. A welcome mat put out just for you. My home is your home - welcome home.

This piece was created based on a vision someone else had and shared with me. As she was sharing her journey of healing, of letting go and claiming forgeviness Jesus so freely gives us; God prompted me to draw the journey.

What an honor and privilege to be a part of this process. May you be blessed and find healing as well.

The train of His robe is the evidence of battles won. When a king won a battle, he would take the robe of the defeated king and have it sown into the train of his robe. King Jesus wins every time. He is high and lifted up. No one is like Him, the earth is filled with His glory. Holy, holy, holy is He.

It is finished. The veil is torn. Because of the death, the victory, the atonement, the acceptance of the Savior, making Jesus King of your heart - you have access to EVERYTHING behind the veil. You can call down the things of heaven and establish them here on earth as you bring earth into alignment with heaven (Father's prayer), as you co-create with Jesus, because you are a son and co-heir with Christ.

When the world becomes seemingly complicated and when times cause conflicting thoughts...don't make choices based on what you know or feel. Find Jesus, seek Him out, trust Him. Because when you go with Him, not only will He hold your hand and guide you through all things conflicting, He'll show you the right way. When nothing is at it seems, Jesus is still there. He says He will never leave you or forsake you and He never lies, since he is Truth. All you need to do is call out for Him.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5 - 6 NKJV

You are not overlooked.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity...

Just as it says in Jeremiah, God says it again to you. God has a plan and a purpose only you can carry out. Its a plan that gives you a future and most importantly: hope. The key to unlocking this plan and this future that carries hope? Call upon Him. Seek Him. Search Him out. Engage your heart, not your mind. Because when you do this, He will let Himself be found by you and He will bring you to that place in Him where you are free and you will see His plan unfold before you.

Being a Shining One - it's a choice - that's what is on the table.

The sacrifice I have already made. Your sin already atoned for. All you need to do is open your arms to me. Accept me by accepting my sacrifice.  In me your sin is covered. In me you have right standing before my Father. Join me in standing before Him, communing with Him as once Adam did.
