እንደበግ ተቅበዝብዤ፣
የመጥፊያዬን መንገድ ይዤ፣
ሙት የነበርኩ በሀጥያቴ፣
የማልጠቅም ምናምንቴ፣
የማስተውል አልነበረ፣
የሚገባኝ ሞት ነበረ።
እንዳይቀጣኝ በእውነቱ፣
ይቅር አለኝ በም'ረቱ፣
ይቅርታው ሳያንሰኝ፣
በደሙ ቀደሰኝ፣
እኔን እያወቀኝ፣
በጸጋው አጸደቀኝ።
ሀጥአን ለይ አለመፍረድ፣
ፃድቃን ለይ መፍረድ
በሱ ዘንድ ሁለቱ፣
የማይገመቱ።
ጻድቅ ፈራጅም ነው፣
ያረገው ይሄን ነው።
በደሌን ጠቅላላ፣

የመስቀል ሞት ሞተ።
ዘላለም ሚደነቅ፣
የሚያልፍ ከመታወቅ፣
ያለና ሚኖረው፣
ልዩ ፍቅር አለው።
