Sorry, bad alert some minutes ago, I had to figure out another way of connecting to the server.
Now it is really back online with all the bots, enjoy! 🐒🎉

[Scheduled Downtime]
Sometime between 3 and 4 hours from now, there is a short planned server maintenance and all my bots will be down. Therefore 31 and Wizard will stop accepting new games 2 hours from now.
I will do my best to get the bots back up as soon as the maintenance is over.

The server had another maintenance and sadly I was unavailable at the time to look for it.

Due to unforseen circumstances, the server had sadly crashed about an hour ago.

Due to a mistake in my bot-startup-script, I hadn't properly restarted Wizard yesterday.
I have fixed this now and Wizard is also back online!

The internet router of the homeserver's location has died, and so the bots are sadly not reachable now.

Currently we don't know how long it'll take to fix it.
Very best case, the router somehow recovers and the bots are back.
Otherwise best case I will be able to start the bots back in about 12h, if the router is fixed by then.

[Wizard: Special Cards]
For over 4 years, the @PlayWizard group of @WizardGameBot has played with 4 additional cards, which were not available in other groups for testing purposes.
Then, I kind of forgot. Until now! Today, as a belated christmas present 🎁, I'm happy to release into the wild...

• The Dragon 🐲 can always be played, is stronger than a Wizard and wins every trick, unless a Fairy 🧚‍♂️ is played in the same trick.

• The Fairy 🧚‍♂️ can always be played, is weaker than a Jester and loses every trick, unless a Dragon 🐲 is played in the same trick – then, the fairy wins the trick!

• The Werewolf 🐺 howls out loud if a player has it on their hand at the start of a round. The player then removes the werewolf from the game and gets a publicly known card instead. Then, the player chooses the trump color for the round.

• The Bomb 💣 can always be played and explodes if it is played in a trick! The trick is destroyed and nobody wins it. The player who would have won the trick gets to start the next trick.

All of these cards are contained only once in the game (unlike Wizard 🧙 and Jester 🃏, which are contained 4 times each).
You can enable each of the special cards individually under /config → Settings. Enjoy!

[Wizard: More Special Cards!]
After about a month of beta-testing in @PlayWizard, I'm now releasing the three new special cards from the recent event to all groups using @WizardGameBot!
Here they are:

• The 🎭 Shapeshifter can be used either as a Wizard, or as a Jester, at the player's choice. It can always be played.

• The 🤹 Juggler (7½) can always be played, in any color (at the player's choice, not bound to follow the first played color). Its value is above 7, but below 8. After a trick with the Juggler in it, every player must pass on one card to the following player.

• The ⛅️ Cloud (9¾) can always be played, in any color (at the player's choice, not bound to follow the first played color). Its value is above 9, but below 10. If you win a trick with the Cloud in it, you must immediately adjust your bid by either +1 or -1.

All of these cards are contained only once in the game (unlike Wizard 🧙 and Jester 🃏, which are contained 4 times each).
You can enable each of the special cards individually under /config → Settings. Enjoy!
