Results of disrupted power process in Industrial society

THE โ€œBADโ€ PARTS OF TECHNOLOGY CANNOT BE SEPARATED FROM THE โ€œGOODโ€ PARTS.

A further reason why industrial society cannot be reformed in favor of freedom is that modern technology is a unified system in which all parts are dependent on one another. You can't get rid of the "bad" parts of technology and retain only the "good" parts. Take modern medicine, for example. Progress in medical science depends on progress in chemistry, physics, biology, computer science and other fields. Advanced medical treatments require expensive, high-tech equipment that can be made available only by a technologically progressive, economically rich society. Clearly you can't have much progress in medicine without the whole technological system and everything that goes
with it.

Detractors of anti-tech thought point out the supposed hypocrisy of using tech to spread anti-tech ideas...

... but revolutionaries have always needed to utilize the infrastructure of the system they sought to destroy.

Both leftists and rightists have historically partaken in the governmental and social structures they wanted to abolish since they offered them a chance to spread their ideology.

And since anti-techers' sole long-term goal is the destruction of technological society (not reforming it or slowing its advancement), they MUST use all available means to achieve this end - including technological means. ๐ŸŒฒ

(Furthermore, it can be said that it is exceedingly difficult to participate in modern society without using certain technologies, and that leaving society is perhaps harder than ever. But that's besides the main point: use tech to destroy tech.)

IN DEFENSE OF VIOLENCE

Is violence sometimes necessary?

Of course, primitive warfare was very different from modern warfare. Today soldiers fight in order to satisfy the ambitions of politicians or dictators; in major wars they usually are conscripted, and even if they volunteer they generally do so only because they have been brainwashed by propaganda. The modern battlefield is a slaughterhouse in which the skill and courage of an individual soldier have little effect on his chances of survival. In contrast, the American Indians fought either to protect themselves and their families or because they wanted to fight. Their battles were on a small scale, so that the individual warrior was not reduced to an insignificant bit of cannon fodder. And their conflicts resulted in none of the massive environmental damage that accompanies modern warfare. In fact, since their wars kept the population down, the environmental consequences were positive.

"Green" energy is but a thinly-veiled attempt to hide the fact that industrial tech is incompatible with wild nature. The purpose of a system is what it does, and what technology does is extract resources from nature, destroying it in the process.

As anti-tech revolutionaries, the least we can do is constantly remind people of this reality; sooner or later they'll have to come to terms with it.

"Technique has taken over the whole of civilization. Death, procreation, birth all submit to technical efficiency and systemization."

AI will be awful for us, but it's only one part of the wider problem of automatization that is common to practically all post-industrial societies. Industrial society is defined by the fact that humans are gradually made irrelevant by machines.

If you don't want to be replaced, you'd better stop thinking we can just reform all these issues away.

Get organized.

โ€œIt would be extremely difficult psychologically for such people to recognize that the only way to get off the road to disaster that we are now on would be through a total collapse of organized society, and therefore a descent into chaos. So they cling to any scheme, however, unrealistic, that promise is to preserve the society on which their lives and their worldview are dependent; if one suspects that a threat to the world of view is more important to them than the threat to their livesโ€.

๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟ๏ปฟWe attribute the social and psychological problems of modern society to the fact that that society requires people to live under conditions radically different from those under which the human race evolved and to behave in ways that conflict with the patterns of behavior that the human race developed while living under the earlier conditions. It is clear from what we have already written that we consider lack of opportunity to properly experience the power process as the most important of the abnormal conditions to which modern society subjects people. But it is not the only one.

In his book "1984", Orwell wrote that [under the fictional dictatorship of INGSOC] "...nothing was your own except the few cubic centimeters inside your skull."

Well, with Neuralink, you won't even have that. If you believe that it's worth it to fight for a world where you can control your own thoughts, consider joining us today.

And no, switching out your new phone for an old one will not fix your life. The problems of industrial society run much, much deeper than that.

The reason Gen Z sees life as unsatisfying and pointless is because it is. A life in an artificial environment isolated from wild Nature can never be truly satisfying, no matter how comfortable you might find it.

The White House has said that access to glyphosate - a literal carcinogenic chemical - is a matter of "national security".

If this is the kind of "security" technocrats offer us, what even is the point of living in a technological society?

ะขะตd ะš was right.
