All we want is Queer-Feminism As a Queer-Feminist project, we want to put a spotlight on specific discrimination and power hierarchies related to gender, sexuality and all related forms of discrimination.
That means internally in our project, on how we work and how we put together our crews, but also what FLINTA* people on the move are specifically exposed to.

FLINTA* (female, lesbian, inter, non-binary, trans, a-gender) refugees are particularly vulnerable and particularly exposed so sexual violence.

In more than 60 countries, queer people still face criminal persecution. From discriminative harassment to death penalty.

Discrimination and persecution are particularly acute in strictly religious nations, where homosexuality is deemed incompatible with Christian and Muslim beliefs.

Also, after fleeing, the stigma around queerness prevents many from coming out, jeopardizing their chances of obtaining rightful refugee status, especially in expedited asylum processes.

Hungary, more comrades persecuted.
Hungary is another country glorifying fascism, as we are used to in Spain or Ukraine.
A year ago, a protest against a fascist act led to a series of arrests of 13 comrades who will be prosecuted from January. Two of them are in prison on a provisional basis.
We will follow this process closely.

The Certain Days: Freedom for Political Prisoners Calendar is a joint fundraising and educational project between outside organizers across North America and political prisoner Xinachtli (s/n Alvaro Luna Hernandez) in Texas. We were happy to welcome founding members Herman Bell and Robert Seth Hayes (Rest in Power) home from prison in 2018, and founding member David Gilbert home from prison in 2021. We work from an anti-imperialist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, feminist, queer- and trans-liberationist position.
