but will usd continue to underperform? think so

also while economically i think it’s more interesting to invest elsewhere it’s not to say at all that the US is losing its influence in the world

their military presence is still great

another way to think about it is - if you believe HTF in crypto, being flat on btc is already being short btc

so y do u need to short it

this isnt to say everyone shouldnt short btc - no its a great instrument, but for 99% of retail traders just ban yourself from shorting btc ever

btc is also very difficult to trade directionally compared to alts

i am ltf-mtf skeptical of btc for other reasons but i still remain perpetually long btc, idc if it goes to 50k or lower, it is my default long leg

Agree. The only argument I will make is btc has best liquidity though. If you are shorting 6 digits on alts, almost impossible to get out w little slippage
