sold more usd for sgd

the headline is a bull trap but i’m not sure how long it’ll take the market to stop being so horny

i’ve sold almost all my US equities

i bought some gold too

personally very cautious on gold tho - just a small amt this time

i’m waiting for an extended cross asset selloff to really turn bullish

will be allocating mostly to chinese equity instead of US i think

i’m v afraid to pull the trigger on chinese equity still

want to wait it out more. just taking the time to research now

i think the chance it gets delisted from US exchanges is very real

it’s probably ok to l/s chinese equity but i have not done anywhere near enough work to do so yet

without hedges it feels like a turkey situation

i continue to grow increasingly convinced the next great rotation is chinese equity out of this whole shebang

but timing the entry is important

imo really no rush

also chinese stonks are super soft and i heard v scammy so be super careful

v happy to discuss ideas w anyone

unlike crypto i think its probably less pvp to share both shorts and longs lol

i’m worried to hold usd for now but also don’t really want to own stuff like euros

so i’m mostly hiding in sgd and hedging my usd exposure

but i’m not going to short usd. will get long bonds again eventually but not yet
