KYIV — Russia is continuing its attacks on Ukrainian civilian areas, hitting Kharkiv’s residential district with new types of cluster-filled ballistic missiles in the early hours of Friday morning.
The missile used was a 9M727, a jet-powered supersonic missile comparable to the American Tomahawk, Serhiy Bolivanov, head of the local police department, said in a statement. The munition is equipped with stealth technology, allowing it to escape radar detection.

New round of peace talks set for Wednesday in London — Zelenskyy
A new round of peace talks will take place in London this Wednesday with the participation of Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States, President Zelenskyy announced.
“Just spoke with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. A good and detailed conversation. Our representatives will work in London on Wednesday. We are ready to move forward as constructively as possible to achieve an unconditional ceasefire and build real, lasting peace. We also discussed joint efforts with Keir on European security formats. Thank you, Britain!” Zelenskyy wrote on X.
According to Bloomberg, the U.S. delegation will include Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoys Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg.
Ukraine, the UK, and France will be represented by their foreign ministers and national security advisers.
