In #Pakistan, during clashes in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces eliminated ten militants of the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan. The first incident occurred in the North Waziristan district, where, after receiving information about the whereabouts of the terrorists, the military launched a search operation. The navies of #China and #Pakistan concluded a four-day joint maritime exercise codenamed Sea Guardians-2 on July 13. They held drills including attacking at maritime targets, anti-submarine operations, as well as anti-aircraft and anti-missile operations.

#Pakistan has been removed from an international terrorism-financing watch list, the head of the international organization that makes the list said.

The decision was announced on October 21 at the end of a two-day meeting in Paris of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) at which the organization removed Pakistan from its so-called "gray list" of countries that do not take full measures to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
