🚀 AndroidIRCX v1.6.11 – New Build with Major Fixes & Improvements
A new build of AndroidIRCX is now available, focused on fixing many reported issues and improving overall stability, usability, and consistency across the app.
🔧 What’s new in v1.6.11:
• Added 50+ new IRC commands (/away, /ban, /clear, /close, /server, and many more)
• Fully mIRC-compatible /server command with full parameter support
• Improved DCC file transfer accept flow
• Support for IRC deep-link query parameters (?nick=, ?altNick=, etc.)
• Better error handling and overall stability improvements
• Many additional bug fixes, including:
• Fixed issues with creating or editing themes
• Default server can now be unselected
• When adding a new network, the default server is no longer pre-filled or auto-marked as favorite
• Per-channel notification sound rules now properly respect mention-only settings
• Fixed UI issues when switching languages (missing or misaligned icons, unordered strings)
• Fixed /server -d disconnect triggering unwanted auto-reconnect
(auto-reconnect now activates only on real connection loss, such as network changes or connectivity issues)
• Multiple fixes related to templates and settings screens
This release focuses on polishing core behavior, fixing long-standing issues, and preparing the app for future improvements.
🙏 Special thanks to our Spanish translators for their amazing work and support:

If you’re using AndroidIRCX and have a Google Play account, I’d really appreciate an honest review.
Unfortunately, the app has received some intentionally unfair ratings, likely from people who don’t actually use it, which doesn’t reflect the real user experience.
It doesn’t have to be 5★ - what matters most is that it’s honest, so I can improve the app and new users can see real feedback from actual users.
Thank you for supporting independent development ❤️
