Many have come to believe that America is in “covenant” with God and that Christians should have an easy existence in the US (and not have to face persecution.) Many also think that sharing our faith is based on the government giving us the explicit freedom to do so

We are commanded to preach the Gospel of Christ and call people to repentance—regardless of what the “law” or a political regime says

It is Christ who makes us free (Gal. 5:1), not the government

So, the real question is: will we continue to worship the Lord Jesus if our faith becomes a crime? Or will we bow to the state?
