The funny thing about this is people (who don't live here) think the entire city of Chicago is flooded with violence.

I can confidently say 98% of the crime, shootings/homocides you hear about on the news comes from the south or west side of Chicago, in areas where the population is predominantly black.

Is that "racist"? No. It's a fact. A sad fact.

But anyway, I am actually surprised at the amount of people that I have personally talked to or overheard talking that are cool with Trump bringing the National Guard here.

Like most things, the bigger picture and agenda goes over people's heads. If the left/Democrats were to bring the NG, the reason would have been because of "right extremists" or something like that. Different perspectives and accelerants for the same agenda.

This was always about the modernizing of a police state... and it's working.
