The key to understanding what is happening here can be found in the Bible. In Deuteronomy, there is a section spanning several chapters that contrasts the blessings of obedience with the curses of disobedience.

Under the curses of disobedience, it states, "The foreigners who reside among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you will sink lower and lower." (Deuteronomy 28:43)

Who can deny that our nations have long been in a state of disobedience and rebellion against God? This is the root cause for the things that have come upon our people.

The book of Jeremiah is also analogous to the situation we find ourselves in today. In this book, God has finally grown tired of Israel's continued rebellion against him, as they continued to worship pagan gods, so he sends them a final warning through the prophet Jeremiah.

The key takeaway lies in the contrast between Jeremiah and the false prophets of his day. Jeremiah warns that calamity is sure to come if they refuse his final warnings to turn back to God.

Of course, nobody wanted to hear it then anymore than they do today. Instead, they continued to push God aside and turned instead to the false prophets who contradicted Jeremiah's message by offering man centered solutions.

In the end, Jeremiah's warnings come to pass. Israel is conquered and taken into captivivity while the king of Israel has his sons killed in front of him by the king of Babylon. He then has his eyes gouged out so that is the last thing he sees.

Jeremiah, on the other hand, is spared and goes on to write the book of Lamentations.

We still have much to learn from these two examples, but it seems we are not getting the message, so things will go from bad to worse until Christ finally returns just as it foretells in the book of Revelation.

Although our nations are in a state of rebellion, now is the time for us to return to God in humility and repentance while he may still be found. As the beast system is being built right before our eyes, now is not the time to follow after godless men who would try to steal the glory from God. It will not end well.

Apart from God there is nothing that can save us and to God alone belongs the glory.

The original word here in revelation is actually Judean, not Jew. Jews ≠ Judean. Jews = Idoumaios, or Edomites. Therefore, the jews say they are 𝘑𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 but are not. BTW what happened to the other 11 tribes..

The funny thing about this is people (who don't live here) think the entire city of Chicago is flooded with violence.

I can confidently say 98% of the crime, shootings/homocides you hear about on the news comes from the south or west side of Chicago, in areas where the population is predominantly black.

Is that "racist"? No. It's a fact. A sad fact.

But anyway, I am actually surprised at the amount of people that I have personally talked to or overheard talking that are cool with Trump bringing the National Guard here.

Like most things, the bigger picture and agenda goes over people's heads. If the left/Democrats were to bring the NG, the reason would have been because of "right extremists" or something like that. Different perspectives and accelerants for the same agenda.
