The third round of indirect talks between the U.S. and Iran regarding Iran's nuclear program have begun in the Omani capital of Muscat under Omani mediation.
The U.S. delegation is led by U.S. special envoy to The Middle East, Steve Witkoff, while the Iranian one is led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
According to the spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry, the Iranian delegation will adjust every step of the talks based on past experiences and the behavior of the US.

Rebel forces continue to make slow progress in Myanmar, seizing government positions and military camps. Wazalendo fighters continued their offensive against M23 in the North Kivu province of eastern DR Congo and have made further gains along/near the R-529 highway.

In addition to this, at around 3am, Wazalendo assaulted M23 positions in the village of Kasobo, where clashes broke out. The battle lasted long into the morning, but Wazalendo was able to dislodge M23 fighters from their positions in the village. M23 withdrew east to the nearby village of Kaandja. Lushali, which is situated between Kaandja and Kasobo, is currently in the grey zone.
