Ukrainian Defence Ministry Advisor Sergei Beskrestnov was injured during an overnight Russian Geran-2 drone attack.

According to him, the attack was a targeted assassination, with the drone striking and destroying his house.

Unidentified missile in northern Donetsk Oblast, flying west

A Russian Su-35 fighter flying over western Luhansk Oblast just attempted to shoot down Ukrainian tactical aircraft flying near the Donetsk-Kharkiv Regional border with an R-37/77 air-to-air missile.

A second attempt at shooting down the Ukrainian tactical aircraft was made. The Ukrainian aircraft are flying southwest away from the frontline.

A drone has appeared, flying along the indicated arrow. Two more explosions have since been heard.

Its still unclear what's being targeted and what the cause of the explosions are.

The initial unknown explosions were also likely caused by Tornado-S rockets. Ukrainian radars seemingly malfunctioned, resulting in the aerial targets not being detected and sirens not sounding..

Ukrainian FPV drones carried out another series of strikes on valuable Russian rear assets, including:

- A radar system for the S-350 "Vityaz" medium-range surface-to-air missile system near the village of Novooleksandrivka, Donetsk Oblast.

- A Tor-M2KM short-range surface-to-air missile system near the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

- The Tuapse Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai.
