Battles continue for the outskirts of Gornal. Russian soldiers are attempting to advance through the open area between the monastery and the village but are being picked off by Ukrainian drones due to a lack of cover. However, as they are utilising the Psel River to protect their eastern flank, Ukrainian forces are unable to counterattack and as a result, have not been.
Additionally, Russian forces from the 1427th regiment are attacking the remaining Ukrainian positions in the forests south of Guevo, which are effectively cut off due to the position of the Psel River.
As a result of recent gains, Russian drones are flying more freely over the nearby town of Myropillya, which is located in the low-lying ground in Sumy Oblast, as seen in the video. Ukraine is bringing in new reinforcements, including armoured vehicles, to Myropillya, which will undoubtably cause more casualties among their forces.
