6th missile to Kharkiv
Explosion in Kharkiv
7th missile to Kharkiv
The 7th missile disappeared, likely a misidentification.
These had the characteristics of Iskander-Ms, but no activity was recorded at any of the OTRK complexes.

Footage confirming that a Patriot Air defence system intercepted a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile over Kyiv yesterday. My guess is that this missile was the other one from Bryansk which "disappeared" and I assumed to be a misidentification.

The other Iskander then went on hit at/near the Patriot launcher position. This is the third confirmed instance of an Iskander-M interception
A Russian Lancet drone just impacted at/near Sumy airport, nearly 30km from the frontline. An explosion was heard.

My estimations regarding today's Russian missile attack on Ukraine: 10 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched, 0 intercepted. 13 Kalibr cruise missiles launched, 2 intercepted. 4 Kh-101 cruise missiles launched, 1 intercepted. 1 Kh-31P launched, 0 intercepted.…
With us now having confirmation of an Iskander-M being intercepted over Kyiv, we can update these initial statistics.

Looking back at my coverage of the strikes, I can now say that 11 Iskanders were launched, rather than 10. This brings the total missiles launched in this attack to 28 launches, 4 of which were intercepted (2 Kalibrs, 1 Kh-101 and 1 Iskander-M)

This would mean that the interception rate was 14.3%, rather than 10.7%. As for the other statistics in my estimations, footage which surfaced after this initial post seems to confirm my figures.

As for the interception rates for individual types of missiles, we have:
25% of Kh-101s
15.4% of Kalibrs
9.1% of Iskanders

This translates to:
17.6% of cruise missiles
9.1% of ballistic missiles
And of course, 0% for the single Kh-31P anti-radar missile.
Satellite imagery of the Borisoglebsk Airbase in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan.

As of June 6, at the airfield were:
3 Tu-160 strategic bombers
2 Tu-22M3 strategic bombers
3 Tu-214 passenger aircraft

2 of the 3 Tu-160s flew to the Caspian Sea during yesterday's missile attack on Ukraine, however did not launch missiles or conduct any launch maneuvers.

3 of the 4 Tu-22M3s stationed there are currently undergoing modernisation work at the neighbouring Kazan Aviation Plant, however previous leaked documents indicated that the plant also had orders to conduct repairs for 7 Tu-160s and 2 Tu-22M3s.

Prior to Ukraine's Operation Spiderweb, these 3 Tu-160s were stationed at Belaya Airbase in Irkutsk Oblast. This redeployment to Borisoglebsk Airbase follows a wider pattern of strategic bombers redeploying to airbases not previously used for bombers, often in the far east of Russia.

For example, 5 Tu-160s are now stationed at Elizovo Airbase in Kamchatka Krai, 1 Tu-160 is stationed at Ugolny Airbase in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, and 3 Tu-160s are stationed at Ramenskoye airport in Moscow Oblast.

In the Bilopillya direction, Ukrainian forces have made significant progress in Kursk Oblast over the past few weeks, and in recent days achieved a localised breakthrough.

Initially, after a series of failed attacks, Ukrainian forces, under extremely heavy air, artillery and drone cover, managed to break through the international border and entrench on the westernmost street of Tetkino. Russian counterattacks managed to claw back some of the houses, but Ukraine was able to bring in sufficent supplies from the village of Ryzhivka in Sumy Oblast, and the Russian attacks bogged down.

Once this foothold was secured and positions consolidated, attacks were resumed on the Tetkino train station and surrounding houses on Lenina and Pristantsionnaya Streets. After multiple days of fierce fighting, Russian forces were finally knocked out of the area of the train station and took up defensive positions on and near Frunze Street. Russian VDV forces then began counterattacking at multiple points in the Ukrainian defence, however all attacks were repelled with losses.

With this solid foothold in Tetkino itself secured, separate assault detachments began crossing the border to the forward Russian trenches in the two parallel treelines southeast of Tetkino. Heavy airstrikes with glide-bombs were carried out on Russian positions on the frontline, while glide-bombs destroyed command posts and forward troop concentration points further back in Tetkino. This softened up the defence and allowed for infantry to begin storming the Russian positions.

Once the first halves of the two treelines were captured, Ukrainian forces branched off to the north and captured the water treatment facilities and gained a foothold on the adjacent treeline. That treeline was then captured, while the other assault detachments pushed further north, occupying further positions under heavy air cover.

In the meantime, Ukrainian FPV drones constantly monitored the supply lines in and out of Tetkino, and struck Russian movements in and out of the village. A lack of Russian electronic warfare simplified this process significantly for Ukraine. This in turn made resupplying Russian troops in and around Tetkino very difficult and eventually resulted in Russian soldiers having to shorten the line of contact and pull back into the town itself.

Ukrainian forces immediately began occupying the largely empty positions around the village, including seizing the previously uncaptured treeline south of the settlement, and entered the outlying houses and agricultural building. Once positions were secured on Ulitsa Street in southeastern Tetkino, Ukrainian forces then launched a sudden attack north, from one of the treelines, crossing the tributary of the Seym River, and capturing part of the next treeline and the first houses of the village of Popovo-lezhachi. This village is what supplies Tetkino, and once Ukrainian soldiers managed to physically cut two of the roads, Russian forces in Tetkino found themselves in an operational encirclement.

The Russian garrison has since pulled back further towards the centre of the village, with Ukrainian forces occupying further positions on Frunze Street and the main street. At the same time, with the area open, Ukrainian forces pushed into the forests along the international border northwest of Tetkino, consolidating their positions there.

A large grey zone has formed in Tetkino, with neither side holding a permanent presence in parts of the village. Unless Russia brings in reinforcements from the rear, it's likely that Tetkino, along with at least part of the garrison, will be captured.

Correction of the frontline in favour of Ukraine in the Bilopillya direction.

At some point in the last few weeks, Ukrainian forces managed to break through the international border and captured positions in Kursk Oblast.

After a series of failed and costly attacks on the Novyi Put tract, Ukrainian forces turned their attention to the section of the frontline to the southeast, and began assault Russian positions adjacent to the border.

Ukrainian forces advanced over the border and captured positions in the treeline, next to the Komsomolskoye Tract. The tract was then captured, while separate assault detachments seized the forest plantation to the southeast.

In the Khotin direction, Russian forces continued their advance, albeit at a slower pace than before.

Russian forces advanced in two areas. In the west, they advanced south from their positions in the village of Andriivka, capturing new positions in the treelines and forest plantations. Other forces then attacked south from the village of Oleksiivka in conjunction with a push down the treeline to the west, resulting in the treelines in the area of the C-191504 highway to Sumy being captured.

In the east, Russian forces advanced from the village of Novomykolaivka and took up new positions in the treeline northwest and west of the village of Varachyne. They also seized the rest of the treeline south of Novomykolaivka.

In the Yunakivka direction, Russian forces continued their offensive and have captured various new positions.

Russian forces advanced in three areas. In the west, they pushed southwest and southeast through the forest plantations, securing positions on the approaches to the village of Yablunivka, before storming the settlement and capturing the first street.

To the northeast, Russian forces crossed the international border at the new point, advancing from the village of Oleshnya in Kursk Oblast, and capturing the forested areas directly opposite the border. They then pushed further west to the highway, before capturing the small treeline to the northwest.

In the east, Russian forces completed the capture of the large forest on the Kursk side of the border and crossed over, gaining a foothold in the eastern part of the next forest over in Sumy Oblast.

Explosion in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Iskander-M impact.
The amount of Pro-Russian cope regarding the Iskander interception and Ukrainian advances in Kursk is so funny. I think operation spiderweb has hit a nerve for some people who are incredibly emotionally invested in this war, and they are either dooming excessively or coping with it by downplaying every other thing Ukraine does.

Like come on, Ukraine shot down an Iskander which is VERY rare to happen (3rd confirmed case ever) and yet you're still complaining, despite 98% hitting their targets. Ukraine advances in a stupid area which is only going to make their situation even worse in other parts of the frontline, and all of a sudden its propaganda and fake news. Its a really bad look.
In the Uhroidy direction, Russian forces advanced and captured positions in both Belgorod and Sumy Oblasts.

Russian forces advanced west down two treelines on the tactical heights, capturing positions along them, while also capturing the forest plantations in the low-lying ground to the north. Further south they reached the international border and entered the village of Marino, which was subsequently captured. Positions were also seized in the adjacent forest.
