An unusually huge Geran-2 drone attack targeted Donetsk Oblast last night. Dozens of impacts were recorded in various settlements. Details later when more information surfaces.
Last night, Russian forces carried out a large-scale Geran-2 drone attack on various settlements in Donetsk Oblast.

From 1:05am to 2:00am, 12 Russian Gerans impacted two points in the city of Slovyansk. The first was a warehouse used by the AFU on Heolohichna Street (coordinates: 48.876134, 37.615291) in the northern suburbs. There are casualties among the AFU, and one civilian was wounded. It's possible that some sort of electronic equipment was stored here.

The second was the Slovyansk Mechanical Plant at 48.854634, 37.630496. The vicinity of this complex was hit by KAB glide-bombs on Tuesday. A large fire broke out at the impact sites. Considering recent patterns, it seems Russia has adopted the tactic of completely destroying buildings which are used by the AFU, in order to prevent them from ever being used again. None of the drones over Slovyansk were shot down.

In the city of Kramatorsk, as many as 4 Gerans hit targets, including an industrial enterprise.

In the city of Druzhkivka, at least 3 Gerans hit their targets. Two targeted storage facilities and a third impacted an administrative building.

In the city of Dobropillya, at least 5 Gerans hit unknown targets from 2:50am onwards. It is unclear what was hit.

In the city of Bilytske, at least 2 Gerans hit an unknown target in the vicinity of the nursing home. A large fire was seen at the impact sites.

In the town of Novodonetske, 4 Gerans hit what was likely some form of storage facility. Locals reported their houses shaking from the shockwaves.

In the town of Oleksandrivka, at least 6 Gerans hit unknown targets. Powerful explosions were heard throughout the town resulting in strong shockwaves.

In the city of Bilozerske, at least 1 Geran hit an unknown target. Strong explosions were heard throughout the city.

In total: ~37 Geran impacts, a new record for Donetsk Oblast.
In the Khotin direction, Russian forces crossed the international border and entered Sumy Oblast at a new point.

Russian forces advanced south over the border entering the northern houses of the village of Kostyantynivka, before quickly expanding their zone of control, and completing the capture of the settlement. As a result of this advance, a foothold was established on the next set of tactical heights.

+ ~3.93km² in favour of Russia.
In the Yunakivka direction. Russian forces continued their assault operations and have completed the capture of the village of Vodolahy.

After entering the northern part of Vodolahy, Russian forces pushed southeast and captured the rest of the houses in the village. They also advanced down the treelines to the southwest, linking up on the northern approaches to the village of Novomykolaivka.

To the east, Russian forces continued to push down the treeline west of the village of Bilovody, before branching off onto a perpendicular treeline to the west, capturing new positions there.

+ ~5.89km² in favour of Russia.;
In the Vovchansk direction, Russian forces have made significant progress in the ruins of Vovchansk city, capturing most of the area north of the Vovcha River.

Russian forces advanced in two main areas. In the west they pushed south on a wide front through the ruins of the residential area, capturing what's left of School No. 2 and a series of commercial buildings, before entering the territory of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. Due to the high level of destruction in the plant, it fell quite quickly as the Ukrainians were unable to hold an adequete defence.

In the east, Russian forces completed the capture of the citadel, capturing the rubble of the two former high-rise buildings in the east of the block. They also seized new positions in the dugouts where the houses used to be on Hoholia and Zernova Streets.

+ ~0.56km² in favour of Russia.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces continued to make progress near the village of Kamyanka and have captured a large forested area.

After completing the capture of most of Kamyanka, Russian forces began pushing from their trench positions on the outskirts, and their foothold on the tactical heights in the south in order to clear the forest. They advanced downhill into the low-lying ground, seizing the positions there, before reaching the western edge of the forest.

+ ~2.28km² in favour of Russia.
In the Borova direction, Russian forces continued to advance west of the Zherebets River and have captured new positions on the tactical heights.

Russian forces advanced north up two treelines in the west, reaching a perpendicular treeline on the tactical heights. This was subsequently captured, in part due to other Russian advances further east in the low-lying ground.

+ ~1.19km² in favour of Russia.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces launched a counterattack, recapturing positions in the low-lying ground.

In the Chasiv Yar direction, Russian forces advanced and completed the capture of Chasiv Yar city centre.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces continued their offensive and have cleared the pocket southwest of the city of Toretsk.

Ukrainian forces pulled back from the perimeter of the pocket and accumulated in the villages of Hnativka and Stara Mykolaivka. Russian forces advanced from all directions, occupying those largely empty positions and tightening the encirclement.

They captured the remaining part of Hnativka, before storming Stara Mykolaivka and the remaining treelines and forest plantations, capturing the Ukrainian soldiers there as POWs. New positions were subsequently established on the remaining stretch of road between the villages of Zorya and Romanivka, which was previously in the grey zone.

Consequences of 2 Russian Kh-35 missile strikes on a storage facility in the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast.
This appears to be the location of the Kh-35 missile strikes. A building at 49.83111, 36.61666 was largely destroyed. Considering its proximity to the Chuhuiv Airbase, it's likely that this building stored long-range UAVs and/or components for and related to them.
For those who saw the most recent popular post on me, just know I'm not going to be engaging in any back-and-forth with @clement_molin like I have with other accounts in the past. That isn't the point of this account, which is mainly for posting news.

I've followed Clement for some time, including before I started taking reporting seriously, and I think he is very intelligent and knows a lot about geopolitics and war. This is why I am particularly surprised that this is coming from him.

Clement, if you're reading this, I am more than willing to talk to you about it in DMs. We're a similar age, have similar interests and I'm sure we have some common ground, but I don't want any more "twitter drama". It's just boring and I would prefer not to have this constant hate train against both of us from each other's followers.

To my followers, don't go harassing Clement about his takes and calling him slurs (which I have been seeing). If you are going to disagree, do so respectfully and counter with actual points. Insults get you nowhere and are a bad look. Hate is unnecessary and only contributes to more division.
