The IDF spokesperson reported that three rockets were launched from southern Gaza (likely Khan Younis) towards the border with Israel a short while ago. He said that two of the rockets fell in the Gaza Strip, while a third was intercepted by the Israeli Airforce before it crossed the border. No sirens sounded in the surrounding settlements.

The 2 rockets which fell short of the border either malfunctioned mid-flight, or targeted Israeli troops on the ground.
Russian forces have captured the village of Bilovody, Yunakivka direction, Sumy Oblast.

3 years ago today, the battle of Severodonetsk, Luhansk Oblast ended with a Russian victory after Ukrainian units held up in the Azot Chemical Plant were given the order to withdraw.

This was the first major Russian victory in the Donbas which both sides fought heavily for and led to the subsequent fall of the neighbouring city of Lysychansk just over a month later. From there, the battles for the small village of Bilohorivka and the Serebryanskyi forest would begin, with the former only ending after nearly 3 years, and the latter still ongoing.

Fun fact: I started mapping the war in Ukraine after the end of the battle of Lysychansk in early July.

Russian forces have dislodged Ukrainian forces from their positions on the flanks in the salient southwest of Toretsk. The remaining Ukrainian soldiers are beginning their attempts to evacuate under fire. The choke-point for salient is roughly 1.6km wide, while choke-point for the sub-salient in Hnativka is less than 750m wide.

There will probably be POWs as a result of this.
All missiles were shot down, no impacts to Starokostyantyniv Airbase... don't worry about the F-16s!

Palestinian sources report that these three rockets targeted IDF troop and equipment concentrations southeast of the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza (somewhere in the circled area).

At least one impact was confirmed, however no IDF casualties were reported.

One interesting thing about this claim though is the number of Geran-2 drones launched: 355.

This beats the previous record of 298 which was set literally yesterday.

Gerans were launched from 9 directions:
Khalino Airbase, Kursk Oblast.
Navlya Test Site, Bryansk Oblast.
Tsimbulova Test Site, Oryol Oblast.
Shatalovo Airbase, Smolensk Oblast.
Millerovo Airbase, Rostov Oblast.
Primorsko-Akhtarsk Airbase, Krasnodar Krai.
Cape Chauda, Crimea.
Hvardiiske Airbase, Crimea.
Berdyansk Airbase, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Since the second cruise missile attack, all 6 Tu-95s have returned to Olenya Airbase in Murmansk Oblast. Initially, only 2 flew to Olenya while the other four returned to Engels-2 Airbase in Saratov Oblast, however they were likely equipped with Kh-101 cruise missiles before making their return flight to Olenya.

The back-to-back missile strikes explain the high activity of IL-76MD military transport aircraft flights to Engels-2 and Belaya Airbases.

With these recent advances, Russia now controls 6 villages and contests one other in Sumy Oblast.

Controlled: Volodymyrivka, Veselivka, Bilovody, Zhuravka, Loknya and Basivka.
Contested: Vodolahy.

All incursion zones across the international border have been linked up and Russian forces are on the northern outskirts of the first "large" settlement in Sumy Oblast: Yunakivka.

The total area of Sumy Oblast controlled by Russia is ~113.55km².
Unidentified missile in the direction of Ulyanivka, Sumy Oblast.
