The Ukrainian GUR has released information on the new Russian "Banderol" jet drone which has been used against targets in Ukraine recently.

According to them, it has a speed of 580km/h, a flight range of 500km and carries a 150-kg OFBCh-150 high-explosive fragmentation warhead. Interestingly, the GUR stated that the carrier of this drone is the Orion UAV, whose usage has significantly increased recently.

Additionally, it appears that this is the drone which was recently shown to Dmitry Medvedev during his visit to the Kapustin Yar test site last month.

Iskander on Sumy
Media is too big

The footage of the Iskander strike which I reported on earlier has already been published.

A Russian reconnaissance drone spotted 2 Ukrainian HIMARS GMLRS in the vicinity of the village of Nahirnivka, Sumy Oblast. A missile, possibly launched from an Orion drone targeted the first system. The coordinates were then relayed to a Russian OTRK crew who launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from near the city of Liski, Voronezh Oblast, destroying the second system.

It is claimed that this was the HIMARS that launched the rockets at Rylsk, Kursk Oblast yesterday. The Russians are getting very quick with their footage though, as this was released just 10 hours after the missile strike.
Two Ukrainian sources on the situation in Bahatyr, western Donetsk Oblast:

"The enemy continues the offensive in the area of Bahatyr and already has some progress! He is showering the sector with hail where we still maintain control + a ground-based tracked drone with a loudspeaker is flying and announcing the surrender, if no one comes out - fire will be opened, all the houses and shelters will be leveled! Now the Rusaks control the southern part, the eastern half and are advancing in the southwestern part. The settlement, no matter how rude it may sound, is already doomed, there is every chance of losing it in the near future. The moral and psychological component of the fighters is crushed. I said this a long time ago, that the moment will come when it will be difficult to receive supplies, evacuate the wounded, not to mention a well-thought-out plan for leaving the village!"

"Control over the village of Bahatyr is melting before our eyes"
Palestinian sources report that 16 people were killed, many of whom were women and children, and a number of others wounded after an Israeli airstrike targeted the Fatima Bint Asad School in Jabalia al-Balad, Northern Gaza. The school was sheltering displaced civilians and was targeted in the middle of the night. No evacuation orders were issued.

Hamas has officially announced that they will release Israeli soldier Idan Alexander (who holds dual US citizenship). They confirmed that Hamas has been in contact with the US over the past few days. They stated that his release "will be part of the efforts…
The Spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades (armed wing of Hamas) has announced that Israeli soldier Idan Alexander will be released today. Additionally, Saudi news outlet Al-Hadath reported that Israel will halt fire in the Gaza Strip from 12pm today (in around an hour and a half) to facilitate his release.
Reports of a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian armed groups in Gaza for the release of Israeli soldier Idan Alexander are untrue. Israeli artillery and airstrikes continue to target various parts of the Gaza Strip.

Clashes also broke out between Israeli forces from the 10th "Harel" armoured brigade (252nd "Sinai" Division) and Palestinian militants in the eastern part of the Shujaiyya district in eastern Gaza City.
It's crazy that this post isn't satire.
The siege on the Tel Al-Sultan district, western Rafah City, southern Gaza continues to be tightened. Israeli forces from the 14th "Machatz" Armored Brigade are pushing deeper with multiple vectors of movement, slowly clearing out the bombed-out residential blocks one by one but are facing minimal resistance.

Most of the activity is in the southern part of the district, which was the most densely populated. The IDF claims that they continue to destroy tunnel shafts, destroy infrastructure used by Palestinian militants and seize weapons.

There are very few Palestinian militants left in this district. The vast majority of Israel's clearing operations are just ensuring that there aren't any militants in the buildings, that no cells attack their forces, and to turn buildings into forward deployment points, command and control centres and other things with military purposes.

In my opinion, most if not all of the remaining Palestinian fighters are from Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, specifically remnants of the Tal al-Sultan Battalion (part of the larger Rafah Brigade), rather than from any other group such as the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) or the PLFP. Since Israel's previous Rafah offensive, nearly all fighters of the Tal al-Sultan battalion have been killed, wounded or forced to flee north.

The number of Palestinian militants here is probably in the dozens, if not less. The remaining and most radical ones will be holding out in tunnels underneath the neighbourhood, waiting to carry out small-scale ambushes against IDF troops and equipment up until the neighbourhood is fully secured.

⚡️🇱🇾 TL;DR: What the fuck is going on in Libya?

Libya remains split between the GNU in Tripoli (Dbeibah) and the GNS in Benghazi (Hamad, backed by Haftar). The political deadlock over elections continues since 2021.

Security is tense despite a 2020 ceasefire, worsened by a 2024 Central Bank dispute a few months ago.

This morning fighting erupted in Tripoli after SSA leader Abdul Ghani al-Kikli was assassinated. The 444th and 111th Brigades swiftly seized SSA strongholds.

Economic instability persists for your average Libyan, amid ongoing oil disruptions on a national level.

In the Borova direction, Russian forces continued their advance west of the Zherebets River and have made progress towards the Kharkiv-Luhansk regional border.

Russian forces advanced in two main areas. Most of the progress was made in the south, with Russian forces exploiting their improved positions west and southwest of the village of Makiivka, advancing to the next forests. The positions in the forests were captured, along with the nearby forest plantations, while separate attacks took the rest of another forest and four more treelines. Further positions were also captured in a forested area to the southwest.

In the north, Russian forces made a small advance along two treelines, capturing positions there and in a small adjacent forest. Ukrainian forces fell back beyond the Tekuch River; however, the western bank of this river is already in the grey zone.

+ ~7.00km² in favour of Russia.
