The Al-Qassam Brigades (armed wing of Hamas) has released footage from May 7 of their fighters from the East Rafah Battalion (part of the remnants of the Rafah Brigade) conducting their third operation in the "Gates of Hell" series of operations - a series of guerrilla operations against Israeli forces attempting to fully clear Rafah.
First, they monitored a number of Israeli soldiers occupy a building and fired on their position with a "TBG-7VR" RPG, before opening fire with small-arms. They then launched a second "TBG-7VR" RPG at the same building.
Shortly afterwards, an Israeli reconnaissance drone and a search dog were deployed to search the building from which the militants fired from, which the militants monitored through a security camera. A force of 9 Israeli soldiers then entered the building, before the building was detonated with several pre-prepared Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
They then monitored an Israeli evacuation helicopter land to evacuate the dead and wounded from the ruins of the burning building.
Interestingly, this operation occurred just 425m from the previous one.
Two more statements have been issued as a part of the "Gates of Hell" operations since May 7.
The Al-Qassam brigades announced that their forces targeted an Israeli engineering force of 12 soldiers who were preparing to demolish a residential building in the Al-Tannour neighbourhood in eastern Rafah with an anti-personnel and an anti-armour shell, killing and wounding the Israeli soldiers. They monitored an evacuation helicopter arrived to evacuate the dead and wounded.
They also announced that their forces targeted an Israeli infantry force of 7 soldiers with an IED in the Al-Tannour neighbourhood, killing and wounding the soldiers.

The IDF and Palestinian sources both confirm that the head of the Jenin Battalion, Nur Bitawi, was killed by Israeli forces from the 442nd "Samaria" Territorial Brigade, Shin Bet and border police after they surrounded a building on the eastern outskirts of the West Bank city of Nablus.
An Israeli force of at least 10 armoured vehicles surrounded the building and fired five "Energa" shoulder-launched shells at it and engaged in small-arms clashes with him and a second militant who was also barricaded in the same building. Both militants were killed in the fighting.
The previous head of the Jenin Battalion was killed last month in a joint operation between the Palestinian Authority and the IDF.
Nur Bitawi fled to Nablus after the IDF occupied Jenin and the Jenin Refugee Camp and was reportedly previously involved in the manufacturing of explosives and their planting in the Jenin area.
The Jenin Battalion, part of the larger Jenin Brigades, is a local Palestinian armed group previously based in the West Bank city of Jenin, specifically the Jenin Refugee Camp. It used to be the largest and strongest Palestinian armed group in the West Bank, prior to operation Iron Wall and the subsequent military occupation of Jenin. The members of the Jenin Battalion were all either killed, captured or fled to other parts of the West Bank, many of which linking up with cells from the rest of the larger Jenin Brigades who are based in various towns and villages in the Jenin Governorate.
The Jenin Battalion and the Jenin Brigades are part of the larger Saraya Al-Quds Brigades which is the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. They mostly operate in the Gaza Strip alongside Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades and other smaller armed groups, but maintain a presence in the form of smaller units such as the Jenin Brigades, in the West Bank.

The aircraft turned back to Myrhorod, Poltava Oblast, before circling back around to try and bomb Tetkino again. Another Russian S-300/400 air defence missile was launched towards them over the Buryn area of Sumy Oblast as the aircraft approaches the launch lines.
This suggests that the first missile did not shoot any of them down, but we can wait and see for this second one.

A commander in the 1st "Golani" Infantry brigade of the 36th "Ga'ash" armoured Division stated that the fighting in the Al-Janina neighbourhood of Rafah is "tough" and that Israeli forces are still witnessing clashes with Palestinian fighters from Hamas' Rafah Brigade.
The Rafah Brigade, which is split into four battalions, operates in Rafah city of southern Gaza. It was the last brigade not to be significantly impacted by Israel's ground invasion, until Israel launched the Rafah offensive last year. This offensive resulted in the brigade losing most of its combat capabilities, as the vast majority of its fighters were killed, wounded, or fled north.
However, the East Rafah Battalion which operates in the Al-Janina, Al-Bayuki and Khirbat Al-adas neighbourhoods, is still putting up resistance, despite being surrounded from all sides, lacking basically everything from food to ammunition and a proper organised command structure. They are still in contact with the larger command of the Al-Qassam Brigades and in extension, Hamas, but this will likely not last much longer as Israel seems to be getting closer and closer to fully clearing Rafah every day.
The establishment of the Morag corridor had the goal of cutting off Rafah and worked well with the Philidelphi corridor which runs along the Gaza-Egypt border and occupies the Rafah border crossing. Despite the Morag corridor not being complete, it is having a clear effect on the speed of Israeli clearing operations of eastern Rafah.
