The Al-Qassam Brigades (armed wing of Hamas) has released footage showing the first and second parts of the clashes which took place in the Al-Janina neighbourhood of Rafah yesterday.
Their fighters fired on an Israeli infantry force from inside a building, luring the soldiers into the building. The militants then withdrew into a basement underneath the building and detonated a number of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) which were prepared in advance inside the building.
In addition to this, an Israeli tank was targeted by what was likely an RPG shell on the same street. No casualties were reported among the Israeli force inside the tank.
In the statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades said that the soldiers inside the building were killed and wounded, and that their fighters monitored Israeli evacuation helicopters evacuating the dead and wounded.
This is a part of a new series of operations known as "Gates of Hell". It seems that Gates of Hell is dedicated purely to operations in Rafah (and possibly on the Morag axis) in southern Gaza, while the other named series of operations known as "breaking the sword" was dedicated to operations in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza. It's possible that we will see more series of operations in other parts of the strip, especially considering Israel is set to significantly expand their operations.
There is still one more (a third) operation that took place in Rafah for which footage has not been released. If/when that is released, I will make a follow-up post on it.

Since the implementation of the "ceasefire", artillery on both sides in the Kotlyne area has fallen silent, with only drones operating.
Russian and Ukrainian FPV and Hexacopter (Baba Yaga) drones are striking positions. Ukrainian FPV drones hit Russian vehicles (probably unarmoured) which were being used for transporting soldiers, burning them.
