It appears that the ballistic missile did get through Israeli air defence, but missed its target at Ben Gurion airport, hitting an open area next to it.

No casualties are reported.
Israeli media: "It should be noted - a serious malfunction by the Home Front Command. In Israel, they did not estimate or calculate correctly the time of arrival of the missile. Therefore, there was a fall before the alarm ended."
Israeli sources report that Ben Gurion airport will resume operations in a few minutes after the Houthi missile missed its target.

Well, we got our answer. Russia has opted to storm the Ukrainian buffer-zone around Troitske rather than go through the already established weak spot through the open fields. The remnants of the Ukrainian buffer zone were completely dismantled, with the…
Ukraine, realising the importance of holding this buffer zone around Troitske after it was dismantled by Russian forces from the 80th tank regiment of the 90th tank division, has counterattacked and recaptured those key positions in the treeline north of the village.

A group of 7 soldiers were transported by an armoured personnel carrier (APC) and dropped off in the treeline under the cover of M2 Bradely fire. They seized the middle section, before further soldiers were brought in, likely to reinforce the positions. The fighting was very mixed for some time, with the grey zone expanding and Russian and Ukrainian soldiers fighting in close combat, often behind each other, for the trenches, firing positions, and dugouts here.

Eventually Russian soldiers were forced to withdraw from the southern part of the treeline to the other treeline west of Troitske. This was to prevent being captured, as well as to allow for artillery and FPV drones to begin working on the lost positions. Footage shows what appears to be an artillery shell striking the southern end of the main trench which runs up the middle of the treeline, and an FPV drone hitting a dugout next to one of the firing positions on the southeastern edge of the treeline. Additionally, Russian counterattacks have begun from the north, with Russian soldiers fighting back for the middle section of this treeline.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian and Ukrainian forces have both advanced and captured various positions. Following a series of failed Russian assault operations, Ukrainian forces pushed Russia out of the eastern outskirts of the village of Kotlyarivka…
Following a series of failed attacks on the village of Kotlyarivka (Novopavlivka direction), which resulted in losses and Ukrainian forces regaining full control over the village, Russian forces from the 35th Motor Rifle Brigade are once again on the offensive, attacking through the fields towards the settlement.

It is unclear if they have managed to gain a foothold, and even if they do it's possible that these attacks will end the same way as the first. We will probably get more information in the coming days.
At least two Ukrainian UAVs struck the "Strela" plant in Suzemka, Bryansk Oblast, approximately 10km from the international border with Ukraine.

The enterprise specialises in the production of radar equipment, transformers, chokes, coils, filters and other electronics. According to a report by Ukrainian OSINT channel "Exilenova Plus", the plant cooperates with the Russian state corporation Rostec, and fulfills orders from enterprises of the Russian defense-industrial complex, in particular the Ferrite-Domen Research Institute and the Globus Design Bureau.

The attack damaged the plant's administrative building, and a goods warehouse.

At least 10 UAVs attacked the plant in total, with at least 8 being shot down by Russian air defence. The plant has been attacked once before, on November 30, 2024.
