Of course, this is an early look and everything may change in the final version.

Have you ever expected having a community?
- No, I'd never expect anyone to actually have any interest in this project.

Why did you start AmeOS at all?
- When I started this project, I had lots of game-changing ideas I would love to show to people.

Would you ever wanted AmeOS to become real?
- AmeOS was never supposed to be an actual OS. It always was a passion project. Of course if someone would want to help out making it real, we'd take this opportunity.

How did the name originate?
- I was in the back of my parents garden and was just jumping around of how I would make an OS myself. The name came out of nowhere and has no meaning.

When AmeOS started existing?
- I always was interested in tech, so my own "OS" was ever since I was in kindergarten.
fun fact: I made up DimensonsOS all the way from kindergarten. The name lives since then!
In other way, I started designing it privately around 2020 to 2021 until it got temporarily cancelled

Have y'all ever got AmeOS Android running?
- Lol no we tried with various developers but they either didnt get any success or just left the team. I can answer more questions about this

Announcement regarding AmeOS for Figma

I have personally started AmeOS as a small, private and a passionate project. With all the love and support I've been getting from everyone I have decided to continue the series. Making decisions like merging to Figma or collaborating with other talented designers.

But everything comes to an end one day, and this is the day.

AmeOS has officially come to an end.
It has not been shelved, cancelled nor canned. It has just ended on where it should've.

What does this mean?

All AmeOS for Figma series will no longer get any updates. BUT. I will still post some old concept arts, finish the phone series and expand my projects further.
