BREAKING: INEC Postpones Gov’ship Election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has concluded arrangement to postpone the governorship and state house of assembly elections scheduled for Saturday, March 11.
The polls have now been rescheduled by one week to March 18, 2023, credible sources in the commission told Daily Trust.
It was learnt that the postponement was due to the inability of the commission to commence the re-configuration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines used for the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections, to enable their use for the state elections.
Authoritative sources told Daily Trust that the commission management is currently holding a meeting, where it was considering either March 18 or March 25 for the elections.
It was however learnt that March 18 was chosen.
“You know that the BVAS re-configuration would take three or four days and since they would all be moved to the headquarters in Abuja, the machines would be re-configured and deployed to the various states and finally to the polling units,” one of the officials said.

Full Time Entry qualification: Candidates seeking admission into full time programme as listed above through JAMB must possess any of the following:
NECO/WASSCE/GCE ‘O’ LEVEL with five (5) credit passes at one or two sittings including English language and Mathematics. Three of the credit passes must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer.
Grade II Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in five subjects including English and Mathematics, three of which must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer and his/ her specialization.
.For candidates wishing to offer courses in Vocational and technical Education, RSA or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate, and the Federal Craft Training Certificate (FCTC) credit / merit passes in at least five subjects are acceptable as qualifications.
NABTEB Certificate with five (5) credit passes at a sitting in relevant subjects
Senior Arabic and Islamic Studied Certificate or Higher Arabic and Islamic studies Certificate from a recognized institution with 5 credit/merit passes including English language, is also acceptable
NCE FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
NCE Foundation is available for candidates who passed JAMB with a minimum score of 100 but have deficiencies in their O’ Level results. Such candidates, upon the remediation of their deficiencies, and having offered relevant 100level courses at the Foundation class shall be eligible to transit to 200 Level of the Full-time NCE programme.
Entry qualification(s)
Candidates must score 100 and above in JAMB and, in addition, any of the following:
Possess SSCE/NECO/GCE with a minimum of 3credits and 2passes in not more than two sittings and of which 2 of these credit passes must be in the relevant areas of intended study.

Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as MohBad is dead.
The former Marlian record signee reportedly died on Tuesday at the age of 27.
