๐Ÿ’Ž #3 Gems from Ilm With AMAU: Decoding the Fine Line Between ุฎูŽู„ู’ู‚ (Creation) and ุฎูู„ูู‚ (Character)

Al-Imam ar-Raghib al-Asfahaani said: Al-Khalq and al-Khuluq share the same root; however, al-Khalq is used for physical forms, shapes, and appearances perceived by sight, while al-Khuluq is used for inner qualities and dispositions perceived by insight.

Al-Mufradat fi Gharib al-Qur'an (1/297)

Benefit:

From this, we understand a principle: the word ุฎูŽู„ู’ู‚ refers to outward forms perceived by the eye, whereas ุฎูู„ูู‚ refers to inner qualities perceived through insight.

This draws a clear distinction between what is seen of you and who you truly are within, so real rectification is not merely a surface-level fix of your appearance, but a deliberate rebuilding of your character and manners from within.

โš ๏ธ If we knew our religion well enough, Fitan would never leave us confused and lost.

Whoever has been given a portion of Islamic knowledge knows what it can do:
