NGL…I was lowkey annoyed with God when He gave me this verse🥲
2 weeks ago, I was painfully sharing my heart with him while down with covid. No. I do not want to make allowances for their sins Lord, don’t you know what they did?!
Yet, He spoke gently but firmly. “Daughter, you are precious to me & I love you. I do not want you to bring bitterness into the next season. It has stolen enough from your life. Let them go and let me redeem it.”
I was stunned. But as I slowly released the tight emotional grip, His warmth and love flooded in.
Thank you Jesus for loving me enough to help me confront my unforgiveness. You do it with such gentleness and care. You expose these toxic roots because you never intend to shame, but to purify. I trust you with my whole heart, that You will turn beauty into ashes and mourning to singing.
Today I receive this new season of joy you’ve promised me! Bitterness and disappointment no longer have a hold on my heart. Thank you for setting me free.

Hey friends!! Reviving this channel because of a God intervention 🥹💖
THE TLDR UPDATE:
The funniest thing about running Alyletters with Jesus is that whenever I think I have things figured out & dialed in, I realized I absolutely do not.
You see, as an engineer by training, I love my detailed plans. Mapping out clear content calendars, launch strategies & timelines brings me an odd sense of peace peace & satisfaction. It makes me feel like everything's under control & that we'll be ok, I'm safe.
But God's ways are not our ways & true safety doesn’t come from money nor our plans.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9
In the past few months, I've seen God provide for our little family in ways I could never have planned nor asked for. It's been humbling to see his generosity to us, despite my ongoing inner battle regarding scarcity & abundance.
So TLDR my friends, I had a whole easter collection launch planned, but after prayer & in hindsight, if I do proceed with that, I know it will be an Aly work and not a Jesus work.
Thus, I've decided not to sideline my main business partner, but to walk in step with Him. He hasn't given me the full plan, but I do know this so far for now: I'm to be diligent & faithful in sharing snippets of my chats with Jesus with you guys (: We'll see what comes from that in the upcoming wks!
It may not culminate in a full launch, but it will definitely be a step in the direction of being more aligned with his heart. Afterall, that's what matters most doesn't it?
So here's to the unfamiliar unknown! HONESTLY going with the flow (with no plan) like this is still sooo scary for me today!! BUT I'm excited to share this process with yall! Thank you so much for being around, following along & partnering with me to bless your loved ones! It's an absolute honour & privilege to be able to do this work with & for yall!

This took me a long while, but I'm so glad I'm finally beginning to understand & experience God's divine purpose in rest.
Rest is not idle & it's not a waste of time. It helps us reset, refocus & realign with what really matters.
When we rest, we remember that our dependence is on God & not our own striving.
When we rest, we allow him to wash & reframe our mind & priorities.
When we rest, we take care of our physical bodies, honoring it as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Rest is truly an act of faith -- trusting that God will provide and sustain, rather hustling to self sustain.
So my friends, it can be incredibly difficult (I know), but will you join me in resting with Jesus today?
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matt 11:28
Why burden yourself with unnecessary weight when He can do more for you, than you can! This is your sign to slow down, take a breather & rest up (: Jesus' got your back!

I had an epiphany last month & it triggered so much heart change🥹
One night as I was drifting off to sleep, this random thought/scene flashed across my mind. At the end of my life, when I face Jesus, will I be welcomed with the phrase "Well done, good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of the Lord." or will He smirk & say "haha, well you tried"
Hear me out😂 I know the second part is not biblical at all, but it legit made me ponder: in my pursuit of "feeling safe", earning "enough" & "survival", have I become distracted & neglected to be faithful & bear fruit? I mean if I looked at my life…
What good is it to work myself to the bone & neglect being present with my loved ones?
What good is it to have a loaded bank account but zero positive impact on my friends & community?
What good is it to go viral, be liked & popular, but not actually be influential? (in Lisa Bevere's words)
In John 15:1-2, Jesus says: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
"If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
Apart from Jesus I can do NOTHING. If that wasnt sobering, idk what is. So I committed to let God prune me & BOY did He wither & burn so much from my life!!! TLDR, He started with negativity, discontent & distractedness😂
& while I'm still a WIP (always will be) my heart genuinely feels so much lighter, at peace and joyful now!! Highly recco you let God do the same for you too friends 🙌🏻
"This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples". John 15:8
Jesus is on our side too & he wants YOU & me to bear fruit in our lives♥️ Don’t get distracted & get sucked into the mindless flow of the world like I did. Recommit this season to Him & come back🥹
As I spent more time with Jesus, he also gave me clarity on what bearing fruit looked like:
1. Being present with bb jo so that he grows up loved & can love others well too
2. Stewarding our resources well -- blessing & sharing what we can, instead of hoarding it
3. Pursuing life giving work here on Alyletters (instead of profit seeking work)
So what does God need to prune from your life today? What does bearing fruit look like in your season?
Praying you let him in, heal up and continue to bear much fruit dear friend🙂 Love you & God Bless!
